It was awesome. They called and asked if they could come early. They showed up and were friendly, courteous, and professional. They asked questions and made sure we were on the same page. They went over all the details and pricing. They set up the monitor and explained everything I was seeing. They did not try to up charge me, or sell me additional services. They put all the footage on a USB stick and gave it to me. I couldn't have asked for nicer guys . I think they were really great.

Called this morning said it would cost $655.00 for a new toilet installed. One guy came at 2:00pm took maybe 1 1/2 hr to install, and took the old toilet away. He even cleaned up after himself. It looks great , works fine. Quality KOHLER brand, with a elongated seat. We payed $655.00 and had a very good experience. It was a little pricey, but first class experience. . I highly recommend Bayshore plumbing!

Bayshore Plumbers are highly recommended! From their amazingly fast response and professionalism by Bo, to the incredible work done by Andres (Andy) who was more than punctual (he asked to start early which is great!), his neatness, and his intelligence, I knew I was in good hands. The work was done neatly and efficiently and I can't tell you how much I appreciated not only the work done, but the little things like cleaning up after himself and offering a solution for an issue I had with a shelf above the new toilet. Cost was very competitive too. I highly recommend Bayshore Plumbers for any of your plumbing work. I am in San Jose so I wasn't sure a Redwood City company would want to come down here, but that was not an issue. So don't hesitate and call Bayshore Plumbing right away!

We live on the side of a hill so our sewer line dropped about 20 feet to the main, this required a lot of digging. It took about 3 days of digging to allow them to connect the new line. We had a working sewer line every night! As a Vietnam vet I was happy to deal with a Veteran owned business. I got estimates of more than double what I paid Bayshore Plumbers. I highly recommend Sam and his crew. Everyone I came in contact with was very professional and friendly.

The line was cleared. There was an attempt of a ridiculous upsell after work was completed. That was listed on my receipt as "necessary. Bad move to gouge me.

We needed to have our new single bowl kitchen sink, garbage disposal, and dishwasher reconnected after a kitchen remodel where we replaced our kitchen countertop. The work was done well, although after a week we're finding there is a minor amount of leakage happening and we'll need to call them to come back. In our past experience with several houses and projects, this is not unusual, and provided they are willing to come back and fix it we wouldn't have any problem with this.

Our Sub Zero ice maker started to leak and the water shutoff valve under the sink for the ice maker was stuck so that I could not turn it off. Jess and Chris came to my rescue within an hour of my call. They did an outstanding job of replacing the stuck valve in a tangle of under-sink pipes, and checked their work at least three times to be sure that there were no leaks under the sink. I am totally satisfied with their quick response and the quality of the work that they did!

Bayshore was great. My 22 year old water heater gave out and was spewing water. I called Bayshore's number on Saturday morning and the appointment was scheduled for 12 pm. I knew what size heater I needed, so they brought one with them. They suggested replacing the cold water valve, adding a hot water shut off valve and tested the gas shut off valve and determined that it also needed to be replaced. It took about 3 hours time, including contending with steep stairs to a small basement. They were also really nice to my dog. They left everything clean and in working order.

No. Just no. Stay away if only because you have other options. Rude owner. Immature technician with bad attitude. First off, I am a 10+ year veteran of yelp, and I have written only one other bad review. Also, I have used Bayshore Plumbers over the years, and have had NO issues with their service. I just found out from reading other reviews that the business was sold to a new owner. These guys are the worst. I called them to take a look at an under the sink leak. The guy (Jess aka Jesus) who came in was kinda “off”. Apparently his morning hadn’t started off so good (some issue with his Prius). Anyway, he looked at our problem and said we needed a new kitchen faucet. He would come back to install ($300) once I bought one. I did. He came back the next day to install. He did his job(everything looked pretty good (that he muttered “jesus” and “I need to focus” every time I asked a question should have been a sign of things to come —no I am not a crazy, controlling person, I just asked very typical questions). Anyway, I paid him and I thought we were done. On Saturday morning we woke up to an overnight leak and water on the kitchen floor. They are open on the weekend per Yelp, so we called them and after some back and forth decided that it was OK for us to wait until Monday to see a technician because we had shut off the problem valve (they had swapped out that valve when they put in the new faucet), and Jess had the day off. We did want Jess to come back because we thought it will make things easier (dumb decision on our part?). We got a call from Jess within the hour. He said he was in the area and wanted to show up the same day. We said ok. He came in and gave us a long lecture about how it was his day off blah blah. The muttering under the breathe was back on. He looked at the leak and decided (after making a bunch of calls to his various “uncles” who are all in the local plumbing business— he made it sound like a little mafia) that our RO system faucet needed to be changed (another 300$ odd). We decided against the service because we weren’t convinced that that was the problem and needed some time to figure out what to do, which we thought was reasonable. He left the owner (Sammy?)’s number and asked us to give him a call so that we could together decide the next course of action. We called, and the owner turned out to be the rudest person ever. Customer service? He told my husband to appreciate the fact that he was calling him back on a Saturday (dude, your Yelp info says you are open on weekends! Change that if it is a problem for you, and tell your technicians to not give out your cell number if you don’t want phone calls ). After hearing the complaints about it being a Saturday over and over, my husband finally asked him, “are you telling me that your weekend is more important than mine”, to which he answered “yes it is”. Whhhhhaaat? That’s your Customer service? Why did you feel the need to be rude? Long story short, while we were asking for accountability and help figuring out what to do (even if it was at extra cost to us), he was saying bizarre things like “it is not our responsibility if fixing one thing in your house breaks another” and “I am calling you back on a Saturday”. My husband asked if he thought they could have warned us that the RO system right have issues when they swap out the faucet. Answer— “we cannot predict the future”, after saying first that “these RO systems are unpredictable”. Avoid these guys at all cost and because you can. Bad attitude and just plain rude. Ironically, all we were looking for, was good attitude and we would have paid extra to fix the problem because we know that stuff can happen and not everything is in their control. Sad to see an old local business take a downward turn. ?

The tech was nice and professional. The price was very high. I was told replacing the water pressure regulator would take two hours and cost $525. Well it cost $525 but was done in 37 minutes. While that’s great, the price for labor of ~$400 for 37 minutes of work is excessive to say the least.

I returned from vacation to a leaking water heater that had already created a puddle about 5 feet out. I called Bayshore Friday morning at 10am. They had someone at my house by noon. Caesar was knowledgable, explained everything he needed to do and proceeded to do a great job replacing our 75 gallon water heater that afternoon. He helped me move boxes out of the way so he could work and he left the job site completely clean. Office staff was great. They texted me confirming when my technician would be arriving and sent a thank-you text when the work was done. When I needed questions answered, the receptionist quickly had a technician get on the phone to explain my options (tankless vs. tank, size of tank, etc.)

Both Baldo and Oscar were prompt, knowledgeable, and focused, and a pleasure to deal with. Baldo did the initial troubleshooting and identified the old tankless water heater problem giving me the options of repairing or replacing, and the estimated costs for each. I decided that it was cheaper in the long run to get rid of the lemon TWH and get a new one. Oscar did the installation the next day, and he worked straight through. It was obvious he knew what to do and how to do it. He checked everything out completely, and cleaned up. I am very pleased with their work.

Manuel Ventura was assigned to my job; he was very punctual which I really appreciated. He checked out the toilet and determined that it needed to be replaced; he said it was very old and didn't have up-to-code parts and used about 3 gallons of water for every flush. I told him that the toilet was installed in 1930 when the home was built! I was happy that he recommended a new toilet; and said that I would like the same toilet that was installed by Bayshore Plumbers in January in our master bathroom; he came upstairs with me and I showed him the toilet that I wanted; he took note of it and said that there was a model Kholer, 2-piece, 17" tall, which would be better for my husband; I totally appreciated it that Manuel noticed that my husband is using a walker and is disabled; I was so delighted that he could install a taller toilet!! Manuel was able to install my new toilet the same day. I was so grateful for Manuel's advice! Manuel is very experienced, efficient, courteous and friendly, the perfect plumber! I will always call Bayshore Plumbing whenever I have a plumbing issue and will always recommend them .
