"Felipe came to helped us on Sunday night with a reasonable price. Got the junk out of the pipe, showed us inside of the pipe with the camera, told us where is the pipe penetrated by the roots and also proposed new way to replace the main sewage without dig things open all the way. Very professional!!"

"I met Gert when we hired him to replace our Tankless water heater. I was so impressed with is knowledge and concern to make sure the installation was neat and clean. The piping is literally a work of art. We met with Gert and Sergio to discuss the next phase. They removed all the galvanized pipe and installed 3/4" copper with a true hot water recirculating line for Tankless recirculating pump. Before they started work, they came in and placed protective covers over the hardwood floors. Sergio and his team replaced all the cast iron drains with ABS. They even opened walls where needed to get to the old galvanized drains to the sinks. They pulled up toilets and replaced the old flanges with new ones. All that's left is the sewer line from the house to the street. We will be calling Gert and Sergio when reach that point. Gert, Sergio and the whole crew have something you do not see that often anymore. That's integrity and concern for their customer. Also very conscientious of keeping our home clean."

"He was wonderful! We had several issues with our toilet and system being backed up because employees/clients flushed items down the toilet over several months. Each time we had an issue, Jess came out promptly and fixed everything. He is always friendly and helpful. When a large section of our pipes needed to be replaced, he fixed it, did an excellent job AND even came out over the over a holiday weekend! We will continue to use Jess whenever we have plumbing issues!"

"My sewer line was backed up and I had sewage coming up through my bathtub and sinks. Ron and Cesar came out right away and were able to clear the line! They showed me what they saw with their camera line and they noticed a bunch of wet wipes stuck in the sewer line. Looks like I’ll need to talk to my wife about that… Thank you again Ron and Cesar!"

"Jose and his team were very flexible in allowing us to continue to live in our home while fixing our water line. In the process he showed us how rusted out our line was from our water meter to our house and regardless of what the progress was, we always had water for the kitchen and bathroom for the 3 days required to replace ALL of the galvanized piping with new copper. He also resolved an un-level toilet issue in both bathrooms. We never knew it was not supported properly until he showed us; he quickly leveled the foundation under the toilet which we appreciated. Jose always listened to our concerns, and answered every question we had regarding the water piping replacement. Picture shows the leaking and the final copper replacement."

Toilets questions, answered by experts

Depending on the type of renovations needed, the cost to build an ADA bathroom ranges between $700 and $8,050. On average, most homeowners pay around $4,375 for this remodel. This type of remodeling requires following strict ADA accessibility guidelines to ensure a universal design.

Yes, pressure-assist toilets leak, but less often than regular toilets. You might experience leaks from your toilet due to worn-out parts, water pressure in your plumbing that’s too high or low, poor installation, or cracks in your tank. These toilets are harder to fix on your own than gravity-fed ones, so it’s best to call a plumber if you can’t figure out what’s wrong,

After flushing the toilet, you should have about half a tank full of water. While the exact amount of water you’ll have will vary, you want to make sure you have enough to cover the bottom of the bowl and enough to sit above the P-trap drain. While low water in your toilet bowl can indicate a problem, too much water can also be cause for concern.

A standard toilet flange should fit snugly into the outflow pipe and sit level with the subfloor. Installing a new one without first removing the old one will make it impossible to form a seal and keep the toilet bowl bolted securely in place.

However, if you’re dealing with leakage or wobbling because you’ve installed a new type of bathroom tile (making the floor taller), you may be able to avoid fully replacing the flange by opting for a toilet flange extender. Extenders typically come in kits for easy DIY installation, fit over the existing flange, and bring the drain connection higher.

You definitely can over-tighten toilet tank bolts. Unlike some other materials, porcelain can’t bend or flex, so when you over-tighten a screw into it, it could break against the added pressure. Only tighten them as much as needed to keep them in place and firm; any more and you could risk breaking the porcelain.
