"Michael was knowledgeable, personable, and professional. He jumped right in checking my breaker box for the loose breaker, got it situated, checked my hot water heater to make sure I was getting hot water. He was very thorough and put everything back as it was. I would recommend this company for any electrical needs. I'm keeping this company in mind for any future needs."

"Very professional and high quality results. This project was done right. Electrical systems in mobile homes are notorious for causing issues. Add to that, a 50 year old mobile home, and there are many reasons to be concerned. I had estimates from several different providers but Static Sun Electric and Solar were head and shoulders above all the rest in diagnosing what needed to be done to make our home safe. I also needed extra work done to support a computer room, and some special needs outlets for a Convection Oven and other appliances. They also installed a 230V box for my mini-split. Everything I wanted was completed quickly and very professionally. I have total confidence in the work performed. These will be the people I call if/when I ever need electrical work. 5 STARS Plus. Brenton and Jason did the work, and Julie, in the main office, coordinated everything. I can't express enough how pleased I am with this project. They may not be the lowest bidder on a project, but you get what you pay for, and what value do you put on the peace of mind knowing it was done right? Highly recommend Static Sun Electric and Solar."

"They were the only contractor that knew how to work with APS to get the power wiring disconnected and reinstalled without having to dig up the whole yard to do the repair. They did a great job even after rescheduling due to a rain event that cancelled the first planned schedule and had to come back again a week later. Well done Jacobs Electric."

Electrical questions, answered by experts

In Gilbert, electrical upgrades often impact interconnected systems like HVAC units, smart thermostats, pool equipment, and solar panels. Before starting a project, review how your electrical panel connects to these features. For example, panel upgrades may require adjustments to AC wiring or smart home controls. Checking your home’s layout and discussing your plans with a qualified electrician helps ensure all systems continue to function smoothly.

Helpful?

For electrical projects in Gilbert, start by preparing detailed plans and submitting them through the local e-permitting system. Coordinate with your utility provider early if you need a service upgrade. Schedule work during cooler parts of the day to avoid weather delays. If you’re part of an HOA, secure their approval in advance. Hiring a contractor familiar with Gilbert’s codes can help prevent unexpected setbacks.

Helpful?

In Gilbert, overusing extension cords, blocking airflow around electrical panels, and skipping routine AC maintenance can strain your electrical system. Allowing dust to accumulate on outlets or inside breaker boxes, watering plants too close to outdoor equipment, and ignoring minor leaks—especially during monsoon season—can also cause damage. Being proactive about cleaning and monitoring your setup helps extend your system’s lifespan.

Helpful?

Gilbert homeowners are embracing smart home automation, energy-efficient upgrades like solar panels and battery storage, and outdoor enhancements such as LED pool lighting and misting systems. Popular trends also include installing USB outlets, under-cabinet lighting, and dedicated circuits for home offices or electric vehicle charging. Pre-wiring for ceiling fans in every room is another sought-after feature, reflecting Gilbert’s focus on comfort and technology.

Helpful?

In AZ, the durability of electrical work depends on using weather-resistant materials, proper installation techniques, and adapting to the local climate. Choosing UV-protected components for outdoor use and ensuring tight seals against dust and moisture are crucial. Regular maintenance, following updated codes, and allowing for adequate ventilation all contribute to a longer-lasting, safer electrical system in your home.
