"Hired James to take out 2 old light fixtures in the bathroom and install two new light fixtures. He did an excellent job. Even offered to paint the missing patches but I didn't have any touch up paint. He also installed a new shower head. He is very professional and a really nice guy. I highly recommend James. He will be my go to handyman movng forward."

"Great. I had purchased a deal online for a new disposal. When they arrived they
told me that is was just a clogged disposal. We worked to make sure i was charged appropriately.
Fast, friendly and efficient.

"They did not do everything that was agreed upon at the start. It wasn't till my husband came home and looked at the job done that I realized how unfinished everything looked. Hoses to the toilet were just coming out of the wall with nothing covering the hole. We paid for a laundry box. It was never installed. After speaking with them, I was told it was on their desk and would be out the next day to do it. Weeks later, no box. If you want a cheap job and don't care how it looks, go with them."

"Our garbage disposal quit right in the middle of cleaning up after Sunday dinner. Called Reddi Services Monday morning and, after giving all the necessary info, was told they'd call us right back with an appointment time. After waiting an hour and a half, I called Reddi again (hence the 'B'). They were quite apologetic for the snafu in communication and said a plumber would be at our house within 45 minutes. Bryant arrived 30 minutes later. He determined that our disposal was clogged and got it working again. However, since we had no idea how old the disposal was and it had always rattled since we moved in, we asked Bryant to replace the disposal with a new one that we purchased (during the wait time). Bryant switched them out promptly. Bryant was great - very professional in manner and dress, knowledgeable, and patient with our questions and concerns."

"Rich was prompt and highly communicative in advance of the first appointment to make sure I understood my options to replace my water softener. Once there, he did an extremely professional job an cleaned up perfectly after the job. During the water softener install, I mentioned that I had a leaky spigot valve in the backyard. Rich cut off the old one and welded on a new one that is working great. He charged me a minimal fee for the addon work since he was already on site. Here's the kicker and why I'd highly recommend Rich to anyone. During the install he talked about how he would come back without issue if there were any questions or issues. Well a couple weeks later, there turned out to be an issue. When the unit backwashed it dumped water onto my garage floor. This problem persisted. The second time it happened, I called Rich who we very willing to come back. It turns out my drainline, that had been put in by a previous provider had a kink which was causing it intermittently clog, causing the overflow of water in the garage. Rich found the issue and ran a brand new drain line through the attic. He was at my house for 3 hours to identify and resolve the problem. At the end he offered to not charge me, even though the drain line problem wasn't his fault. I insisted on paying him so he gave me a LARGE discount. I now consider Rich my go-to plumber. He'll get all my business moving forward."

"EZ Flow realized it was simply the sprayer that unhooked and needed to be reconnected. No money was charged for them coming out or even for fixing it! They have all of my rental property's business now (I'm out of state otherwise I would use them personally)."

In most cases, appliance warranties do not transfer to new owners. However, some exceptions apply. To check the status of your appliance warranty and whether you can transfer it when you move, review the terms and conditions of your warranties or consult your home warranty service. When purchasing a new appliance or one from a previous owner, be sure to pay attention to its warranty status, including the type of coverage and any exclusions.
Yes, most states require plumbers to be licensed, and for good reason. Hiring an unlicensed plumber could lead to poor quality work, costly future expenses, and potential code violations.
As you browse our pro listings, take note of the “Angi Approved” badge. Angi Approved businesses meet our standards for certification which include:
The owner, principal, or relevant manager passed a criminal background check
Required to have applicable state and local licenses
Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review
Paying to advertise their services
Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi
Keep in mind licensing is different from certifications. A license is a legal requirement to operate a business, while certifications are voluntary.
Typically, most appliances last anywhere from 10 to 15 years, depending on the appliance, brand, and amount of use. Keeping a regular maintenance schedule, including cleaning and tune-ups, also helps appliances last longer. Dryers, gas stoves, and refrigerators tend to last the longest, averaging about 13 to 15 years. Microwaves and dishwashers tend to last about 10 years on average.
The cost of home appliances ranges from $350 to $8,000 or more, depending on the brand, type of appliance, and features. Additional cost factors include any hookups that need to be installed, such as gas, plumbing, or electrical. Keep in mind that major appliances, such as refrigerators, washers and dryers, and water heaters, will cost more than minor appliances, such as microwaves, due to the size, complexity, and essential nature of the item.
The average cost to hire a plumber is around $100 an hour but can vary between $45 and $200 an hour depending on the plumber’s experience and the repair that you need. It’s also important to note that these prices can go up on holidays, and emergency plumber rates average $150 per hour, in addition to a flat-rate trip fee of $100 to $350.
