"Good size odd shape poo with spa. Selected the quartz plaster. They replaced the pool tile also. Price seemed competitive with others. Plastering went well. On time as scheduled. Everything about the replastering was straight forward. They had trouble installing the new pool light. Still not hanging properly. They said will come back when water is warmer so person could get in the water for longer time. I agreed and will call them end of May or early summer. I trust they will complete the job as they seemed reliable and did spend several hours on the light already."

"We had a ceiling fan installed, loose outlets repaired and a light fixture on the garage repaired. I was concerned that the cover on the light fixture would be damaged when removed because it’s original and not easily replaced. Alex carefully removed the cover, identified & repaired the problem with faulty fixture and replaced the cover so that it appeared to have never been moved. Very professional service with prompt response to calls and quick job completion."

"All work was completed very well and timely, including window installation, exterior stucco and interior drywall and trim work. I'm pleased with the results and the price was very reasonable for the job. I highly recommend this company for window replacement."

"Amazing team, 3 generations of family business. Alex did a really good in explaining & pointing out problem areas which need fixing. James did well helping me picked the perfect color. Their crew is the best, most hardworking & polite, upon arrival, they worked non-stop, power thru the hot sun to get the job done & done well. 3 of our neighbor's houses also hired A&J to paint their house, mostly based upon great satisfaction & word of mouth. Would continue to refer this company for 3 reasons. 1. It's a flat fee, not a penny more. 2. Fixed addt'l prob areas detected after power wash w/no extra cost. 3. Good on their word, came back to do extra work not previously listed on the contract. Overall, a great crew, we're happy & satisfied & highly recommend !!!"

"Javier was professional and onetime for the job requested. He performed his craft and cleaned up afterwards. Happy with the light switches installed. One switch was a switch/electrical outlet combo, and the 2nd was a switch/nightlight combo. I have installed basic switches and outlets before but not a combo, so there were extra wires (neutral) that I was not aware of that needed to be connected from the housing unit to the devices."

"Service schedule was about one week from when I called ALD. The office followed up yesterday with a phone call to confirm service would arrive between 8-9AM. Service arrived at 8AM.
Serviceman surveyed the pool and equipment area with me while asking questions about how much water was leaking, when it leaked, any signs of leakage etc. Explained what the process would be to find a leak if it was below ground. He asked about the backwash pipe and when we turned the pump on and checked the pipe he discovered that water was bypassing the valve when it was in the closed position, and that was the source of the leak. He attempted to get the valve to seal but was unable to fix it.
I was only billed for a service call for $ 140.00 and will schedule with the pool repair company to replace the valve.
Serviceman was very polite, knowledgeable and thoroughly explained everything he was doing.
Would recommend ALD for water leak detection. Only issue was I cannot find anything that confirms ALD is a Licensed Contractor in Arizona. This would be a problem for me if they were to actually perform repairs.

Sauna Installation questions, answered by experts

No, you should only choose high-quality wood to build your sauna. Not all types of woods can withstand the pressure from heat or moisture. Only use softwoods, such as cedar and aspen, that are known for absorbing heat and resisting water.

A home sauna may be considered a luxury item by some homebuyers, which can provide a good return on investment. However, whether it increases your home's value ultimately depends on the buyer, as some may not want to take on the extra costs and maintenance associated with heating and upkeep.

Considering the cost of tools, parts, and hiring assisted labor, building your own sauna can cost almost as much as purchasing one. It is less expensive to buy sauna kits, since they are premade and easier to set up. Still, you may need to hire a professional to assist in electric or plumbing installation.

Most people will opt to put their home sauna outside near a pool or on a screened-in porch so the heat doesn’t move into the rest of the house. If your house has enough room, you may choose to put it in a bathroom so you can shower right after.

The primary difference between a steam shower and a sauna is the type of heat they produce. A sauna generates dry heat using electricity, while a steam shower creates wet heat from steam, resulting in nearly 100% humidity. A steam shower typically replaces an existing shower, has an opening at the top, and operates at a lower temperature (around 90-120°F) than a sauna, though the high humidity can make it feel just as warm. It is advisable to limit steam sessions to 20 minutes. In contrast, a sauna is a fully enclosed space that can be placed anywhere in a house and produces dry heat.
