G**** Miranda did a remarkable job repairing the pipe and an adjacent supply pipe I elected to have repaired in case its joint might leak. "We received quotes from four companies - Drainage & Erosion Solutions' pricing was fair and the quality of their work & our experience with them seemed too good to be true. So much so that I've waited for nine months to post a review to be sure the drains they installed addressed the flooding issue. The project included installing five catch basin drains, over 70 feet of 4 inch drain pipe and another 70 feet of six inch drain pipes as well as replanting flower beds, regarding several areas, and installing river rock in two of the drainage beds. The drains have performed exceptionally well. What used to be a river forming on one side of our house, now quickly drains into five catch basin drains they installed. In addition, they were very concerned with aesthetics and made the drain areas look wonderful. They were prompt, professional, and a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend them. Also, and perhaps most importantly, their recommended solution addressed the root cause of our flooding issues. Two of the other companies we received quotes from accepted that water would get into our crawlspace as a premise. "Water was coming through my ceiling. I called After Hours Home Improvement. Reid showed up Monday morning just like he said he would. He found leaks in the bathtub and shower. Tuesday morning his crew showed up and started to work. They worked 6 days/week until the job was completed. They replaced the shower and tub, redid all the tile in the shower and tub area. fixed the ceiling below the leak and painted everything. They picked up everything we needed at Lowe's so I didn't have to figure out how to get it here. Everyday they showed up when they said they would and when the work day was over the rest of the house was clean. Our new bathroom now looks beautiful and the ceiling below the bathroom is good as new. We gave the work crew a key to the house and they came and went as they needed. There were no security problems. Although our cat didn't like having strangers in the house. They did what they said they would, for the price they promised and were even done a few days ahead of schedule. I worked with other home contractors in the past who haven't lived up to my expectations, but if I ever need any kind of work done on my house again After Hours Home Improvement is the company I'll call. They took care of everything we needed: Tile, plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, shower and tub installation, and picking up whatever was needed from Lowe's. They were punctual and very diligent in completing the installation. Before starting, Mike discussed with me the work that they would be doing and answered all my questions. My project was a 2-day job and the work area was left clean at all times. I am not easily impressed but AA Action Waterproofing did an outstanding job. "My main water supply pipe had burst so I called multiple companies. Faruk was the first to respond and show up on a weekend to inspect the damage and provide an estimate. Things I like about this company: 1. They were extremely responsive to my needs and questions 2. They honored their estimate even though there were a couple of unforeseen obstacles which increased the length of the project and possibly the cost to them 3. They negotiated the estimate lowering it considering my situation 4. They took care of all permits and inspections 5. They cleaned up after the project was done to the best of their abilities 6. They were upfront and honest about the damage to my lawn due to excavations 7. They were very courteous and professional Things they could improve: 1. The project took a little longer than anticipated. A lot of their work was manual which could have been fast tracked with the use of machinary i.e. digging etc. 2. We replaced the entire main pipe assuming that it was defective/polybutelene pipe since it was underground and flooded. We layer found out it was not the case but they proceeded anyway rather than fixing the broken length. While I think it was probably the safest choice it may not have been necessary and they never brought it up later."
