"The cracked pipe ended up being between the first and second floor where drain pipes from the upstairs bathrooms came together in a Y-joint. The house is 45 years old and these old plastic pipes eventually crack from flexing, etc. which is exactly what had happened. Fred had to cut 10 inch wide strips in the drywall in the kitchen and bathrooms walls and ceilings to get at the area to replace the leak. He added some rubber sleeves to the new Y-joints to allow for some flexing of the house so this would not happen in the future. When all was done, the repair was $2300 and I had to hire a drywall contractor for another $500 to fix the drywall, but Fred was upfront about the price, the extent of the damage that would have to be done for the repair, and the need to fix the drywall after he left. While it really stinks to have to cough up almost $3K to for a leaking pipe, that's the cost of owning a home build in the 1970's with cheap materials and I was very impressed with the work done by Fred and his same day responsiveness. At least the leak was noticed right away so we did not have any water or mold damage to deal with."

"We got 5 estimates from companies regarding a leak in our office and adjoining storage unit. This was the only company that accurately pinpointed the problem , which was a leak coming from gaps surrounding our electrical conduit pipe. "We received quotes from four companies - Drainage & Erosion Solutions' pricing was fair and the quality of their work & our experience with them seemed too good to be true. So much so that I've waited for nine months to post a review to be sure the drains they installed addressed the flooding issue. The project included installing five catch basin drains, over 70 feet of 4 inch drain pipe and another 70 feet of six inch drain pipes as well as replanting flower beds, regarding several areas, and installing river rock in two of the drainage beds. The drains have performed exceptionally well. What used to be a river forming on one side of our house, now quickly drains into five catch basin drains they installed. In addition, they were very concerned with aesthetics and made the drain areas look wonderful. They were prompt, professional, and a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend them.
