After Hours Home Improvement installed a Rheem 40 gallon electric water heater in a condo that I own. I received an invoice for $2,575.

They were an extremely til notch company to deal with great customer service we had a fire and needed a complete rebuild Reid and A Hours amazed us as they dealt with our insurance company and our insurance company was impressed because they have all their master plumbing, gas, electric HVAC and plumbing licenses. They have a residential building license. They turned in all their insurance and Workmen's Comp. and their bond certificate over to the insurance company and they were able to do everything for us and we did not have to go higher a bunch of different contractors! The insurance adjuster came over and even commented it is some of the best work he's ever seen. They were extremely clean , very detailed , on time , extremely communicative and for us the price was worth it!! Our home is back and just in time as we have a new baby! We highly highly recommend After Hours Home Improvement!

They were extremely professional and timely. Reid is very professional his employees were clean , on time and very knowledgeable. I was out of town and they sent pictures and did everything they said they would do extremely trustworthy! Highly recommend!

Upon initial contact, I was pleased with not having to pay a fee for them to come out and give a quote. They arrived on time which was appreciated but unfortunately the positives end there. We had them out to replace a garbage disposal and inspect a leak. They indicated the leak was because there was no gasket installed between the faucet and the sink and that the faucet would need to be replaced (despite being only 3 mos old, they said they could not just seal/caulk it). The cost they gave to replace the faucet and disposal was $1500. Since this was for a rental property and we did not want to inconvenience our tenant further or have to take more time out of our schedule to get the issue resolved we agreed to the work. I followed up with Reid (whom I presume is the owner) once the work was completed and his attitude was less than professional. Shortly after I hung up with him, he sent me a long text message that further demonstrated how unprofessional he was.

Tiny leak in the pipes under the sink, but because a previous plumber had glued everything, I had to cut out and replace the PVC pipes under the kitchen sink to enable the repair. The whole system under the twin sinks was cut out and replaced for $325. Walter did a great job and the boss, Reid, stayed in touch to ensure a job well done. More than I wanted to spend, but at least now I have a brand new system of pipes professionally installed. Highly recommend as timely, customer service focused, and professional high quality work. RECOMMEND.

I received a price estimate over the phone without a site visit. When I scheduled the repair they came in promptly and on time to do the work the very next day. They replaced a garbage disposal and sink faucet (both items were purchased in advance by us) and completed the work professionally and well. The price was right and we are very happy.

I had a small leak behind my shower and reached to Reid and his team. They were very professional, organized and easy to work with. Very transparent throughout the process. I would recommend them and would hire them again.

After Hours Home Improvement built a roof structure over the porch at my front door. Reid and his team are everything you would want when you hire a contractor. They started the job precisely when they said they would, and they worked continuously every weekday until the job was done. And, at the end of each day, they cleaned up the entire work area. The workers were first-class: friendly, professional, highly skilled, and took great pride in the quality of their work (that last quality is quite hard to find these days). The finished product is absolutely beautiful and looks like it is part of the original build of the house. I am very pleased now to have a roof structure over the porch to protect package deliveries. Also, it is worth noting that I worked as a licensed engineer in the building construction industry for 40+ years, so, I have seen it all -- the good, the bad, and the ugly. These guys are very, very good!! One last comment -- the foreman, Walter, has been with After Hours for 16 years. Hence, this company takes care of not only its customers but also its people.

Reid Gravitte and his teams at afterhourshomeimprovement LLC are the definition of customer service. I contacted Reid on Saturday evening, he returned my call and scheduled an appointment as quickly as possible. The team of Walter and Walter took all measures to ensure a clean and safe environment, booties, plastic sheeting and masks are obviously standard protocol. Two others could not find the source of my problem, Walter& Walter were methodical they tested every electrical outlet to find the source of my problem, they had an attitude of searching through a process of elimination. The switch boxes in my guest bathroom, master bathroom and outdoor deck had wires crossed, were not GFI, but were hot. A fire hazard and a major safety issue. After fixing the boxes all were caulked and properly sealed. My immune system is severely compromised socially distancing is of utmost importance. The team was aware of my situation and took every precaution to protect me while they worked. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Their professionalism, competence and attention detail will have me contacting Reid Gravitte at afterhourshomeimprovement LLC for any future home improvements or repairs.

We hired Reid and his team to fix numerous and severe issues with our home, including major structural problems compromising our safety. These were difficult jobs, requiring us to move out and more than four months of labor in total. However, we could not have been in better hands. We wanted our gas fireplace to work, and Reid came out to provide an estimate for the stove/logs and a fan install. He was on time relateable and easy going as if he had no one else in the world to see. He wasn't pushy and his pricing was reasonable. We had quotes much higher and much lower- his product, professionalism and staff, after all is said and done are worth even more than the slimiest, swindling estimate we received. We will plan to use Reid for future home services.

After being inundated by the area floods on July 8, After Hours Home Improvement, LLC, whom we have hired before, was able to come to our aid within hours, working through the night to pump out water, followed by swift restoration of electricity and then air-conditioning, which was much needed in the sweltering, humid conditions that followed the heavy rain. A crew led by Reid was able to systematically repair/replace everything damaged in the house in relatively short order, right down to drywall replacement, and more. They left the property in better condition than it was before the event. Reid is very knowledgeable and courteous. The company is appropriately named "After Hours"! We'll definitely be using them again. It's a bit on the pricey side, but then there was no waiting to get the job done. It's nice to know that a company like this is able to help when there is an urgent need.

My leaky toilet turned into a rotted sub-floor. The crew Reid sent over to replace the sub-floor/install a new one / install new tile was impeccable. Very professional and courteous. I would certainly hire them for other house projects or emergency jobs. Definitely the best in the area! Highly recommend.

After Hours Home Improvement completed two separate projects for me...one was changing out a pendent light in my kitchen and the other was repairing damaged drywall and repainting the hallway. I needed the work done immediately as I was selling my townhouse and only had two weeks before closing. The crews were on time and very professional! Marcus and his assistants repaired and painted my wall within an hour. They were fast , very efficient and polite. Before beginning any work, they protected my wooden floors and made sure after they completed the work, the hallway was left spotless. My second project required replacement of a broken pendent light in the kitchen. Walter and his assistant knew exactly what needed to be done. Within 45 minutes, he had taken down the old light and replaced it with the new light! Before leaving, he tested the light, cleaned the light fixture and removed the old fixture. Reid and his employees are a great group of professionals. Highly recommend them for any work you need done.
