"I couldn't have asked for a better experience. They were hired to replace the main electrical panel/breakers at my elderly mother's home. Roni, the electrician, was a wonderful communicator, and was very knowledgeable and thorough in completing the job and in putting her at ease. The price was very reasonable. I will be using Nasr Electric in my own home, as well as recommending them to all my friends and family in the DMV area."

Customers say: Quick response

"I hired ESV, Inc. to install a new range hood, and a install new light and switch in the master bedroom closet. In addition they fixed two light boxes in our town home's basement that were not properly connected with electrical boxes. From the moment sent my inquiry to when they left, the communicated effectively the estimate and scheduling of the visit, were on time for the work, and their two electricians that came to do the work provided exemplary service from start to finish. I'd hire them again in a second."

"Bowden installed an electrical outlet to operate an electric shad in the foyer, recessed light above the garage entryway and a ceiling fan. Plus the electrician was on time, very courteous and respectful, used drop clothes and shoe covers to minimize dirt, swept and vacuumed area, and reasonably priced. They receive an AAA plus. Will definitely will be using Bowden for other electrical projects. If looking for an awesome electrical company - contact Bowden"

Electrical FAQs, answered by experts

Coordinating electrical work with other home upgrades in Springfield can help you avoid repeated disruptions and minimize project delays. For example, if you’re remodeling a kitchen or finishing a basement, updating wiring or installing new circuits at the same time reduces labor overlap. Many Springfield homeowners also find that bundling projects streamlines inspections and ensures all systems are up to current safety standards.

Helpful?

In Springfield, you can safely reset a tripped GFCI outlet, replace a light bulb, or swap out a standard wall plate after shutting off the breaker and confirming there’s no power. If you notice persistent GFCI trips, moisture near outlets, or any sparking, it’s best to contact a local electrician. Outdoor electrical repairs should always be left to professionals due to Springfield’s variable weather.

Helpful?

Springfield’s humid summers and cold winters can impact electrical work by increasing the risk of moisture-related issues and corrosion. High humidity may require extra GFCI protection, especially in basements or outdoor areas. Seasonal storms can cause power surges, making surge protectors and generator transfer switches smart additions. Scheduling electrical projects in spring or fall often avoids weather-related delays and ensures safer working conditions.

Helpful?

If you notice frequent breaker trips, outlets that feel warm, or lights that flicker in Springfield, these are signs you likely need electrical work. Water near outlets may indicate a moisture problem that should be fixed before electrical repairs. Outdoor lighting issues could be caused by wiring or landscaping problems. For widespread power issues, check with your utility provider before calling an electrician.

Helpful?

Overloading outlets with too many devices, running extension cords under rugs, and ignoring basement dampness can all reduce the lifespan of your electrical system in Springfield. Skipping regular GFCI outlet tests, letting shrubs block outdoor electrical panels, and neglecting HVAC filter changes during hot weather also strain wiring. Addressing these habits helps keep your home’s electrical work reliable and safe.
