"Spectacular work product. Incredible customer service and communication. Very reasonably priced. Meticulous work. Efficient and timely. Tremendous value for your investment. Mottern Masonry removed our gazebo and replaced it with a stamped concrete patio and stone fireplace. The patio is partially lined with 25 inch tall sitting wall. They also repaired our brick front walkway, some stone work on the façade of our home and some minor pavement cracks. The project went exactly how Jeff Mottern said it would go, and turned out better than we could have imagined. Jeff grew up in the masonry business and it shows. Jeff and his team are gifted professionals, kind and excellent communicators. Weather permitting, they worked non-stop from the moment they started until the project was completed. Right on time and right on budget. The stone work on the wall and the fireplace is stunning. And when all of the building was completed, they graded and seeded the area around the patio, covered it with straw, and cleaned up the work areas as if they hadn’t been there. This was as perfect a home improvement project experience as we could hope to have. And to top it off, Jeff has a wonderful network of experienced carpenters, electricians and other resources to tap into as your projects may require. We are using three of those additional resources so far. We cannot recommend Mottern Masonry more."

John and his incredible team swept in and transformed it from a grassy dump to a cozy masterpiece beckoning family and friends to stop by as it hosts the next big gathering to enchant them with its newfound charm. It's got soul! I cannot be more pleased by its total resurrection. Some background before the project: The backyard was a hot mess. My fiancé weighs around 270 pounds - the landing and steps leading to the backyard caved inwards and were one of his footsteps away from crashing down altogether. The fence was completely rotted and the gate's handle broken off: slabs of old wood were drilled in place to keep it closed. Grass and weeds competed to fill in the space within, yet it felt empty and void. It needed reviving. I was embarrassed to have family or friends spend any time out there yet dreamed of its potential to become an amazing separate entertaining space I was proud of. The patio would encompass the entire backyard to allow for low maintenance and high fun. My indecisiveness reared its ugly head when it was time to choose paver colors. John walked me through all the choices I was thinking about and encouraged me to trust myself. I already knew I had made the right choice in choosing this company, and I now felt confident I made the right choice in materials. The crew sent to complete the jobs were awe-inspiring: if there is a definition for efficient, it is them. They arrived first-thing in the morning for each job. The steps were done the previous week and are gorgeous! No crashing here! The next crew knocked our patio and fence/gate out in two days! We had taken some before photos, and I could not believe the difference. Our new backyard looked like it belonged in a magazine's best outdoor spaces. Pinterest would be proud! The work is flawless - coming from a perfectionist (another one of my qualities), that speaks volumes! The attention to detail in how each paver was carefully placed was immaculate, the pattern design strikingly beautiful. And they left behind NO MESSES, only their breathtaking work that is now our backyard! "Efficient crew. They had excellent communication skills. I was apprised of needed alterations to the deck as they laid trex Composite flooring.All my questions were answered. I was given ideas on hanging my Shepard's hook that holds my bird feeder to the railing after the installation of Trex. The crew of 2 persons worked 3 days to give me a beautiful new flooring, stairs and railing look. I will be staining the wood tines myself."

"There is really no reason to go with anyone else—Exterior Works was the lowest price, most professional, and highest quality. I thought I had to choose between the high-cost, glossy brochure, licensed & reputable companies OR the cheap, unlicensed, pushy “if you ask for inspections the cost is double” contractors. Arafat quoted a much more reasonable price, gave excellent advice to help us build what would be most useful, never pressured us, and got all the appropriate permits & inspections. We were probably fairly high-maintenance clients, and Arafat was patient and kind, describing options as we went and modifying a ‘normal’ porch set up to reduce pollen so my highly allergic husband & daughters can enjoy the space. We absolutely love our new 3-season porch and pretty much live out here now. I strongly recommend going with Exterior Works for any outdoor project you have in mind."

"ADHR added a beautiful new front porch to my Cape Cod style home, replaced a stoop and access stairs at the side and back doors and replaced all the exterior doors in my home. I am overwhelmed with how wonderful this all turned out as other contractors I spoke with were concerned that moving the center door would result in a unbalanced look. The people at ADHR totally understood the more traditional look I was looking for and the results are exactly what I was looking for. We had several missteps along the way with an inaccurate survey which required a new permit and lousy weather delays which extended the job by weeks at a time. They did bring the mason in on the weekends when the weather permitted just to keep us on track. Working with Taylor, the project manager was great....got regular updates from him about what was going on and he made regular site visits and coordinated with another contractor for the roof installation. Luis, the crew foreman, was a pleasure to work with, very professional and I have to say that all the crew did beautiful work. When working inside the house, they took great care to protect and clean up the surrounding area. The only caveat I feel I should mention is to make sure you have ALL requirements spelled out in the contract as they WILL charge the $250 fee for any change orders (which is clearly stated in the contract) even for a minor addition."
