  It went fantastic! Milton, the team leader was kind, calm, and experienced. Jennifer, the packer and leader in training, was patient and friendly. Angie, another packer had a quiet confidence, and Kelly, the newest member of the team was enthusiastic and eager to learn. It was a really long day.   The move went extremely well -- end to end from the customer service experience working with folks at Metropolitan, to the team they sent out to do all the lifting. I would recommend them to anyone with a moving project. My move was I think fairly simple and short, but Metropolitan does longer moves too, both distance and time-wise. Here are some of the key points: 1. The team that coordinated the booking / quote / all the administrative elements of the project was quick and helpful. 2. The project was affordable -- I checked against other services and this was the best value. 3. The guys who did the lifting were great at what they do. At the outset we had an issue getting the POD door open (my fault for overfilling it), but the guys helped me get it open with not a small amount of creativity

  Bargain Movers did a wonderful job with our recent move from Kensington, MD to Rockville, MD. The crew, Will G., Will Jr., Alvin, and Max, were fast and professional. We were told that they would show up between 8:00 - 9:00 AM....and they showed up at exactly 8:15 AM. The move from a 2-level single family home to a 3-level townhome took less than 3 hours. We moved on August 13th, which was one of the hottest days of this year so far (feel-like temp was 105). The guys deserve extra kudos for doing all that hard work under those conditions!!! I was in awe at how they carried our huge sofa up a narrow flight of stairs. No damaged walls, no scratches, no damaged furniture. AND the final cost was $400 less than what was initially quoted! Can't beat that! Also, a big thank you to Martina (admin) and Luis (owner) for being so helpful and responsive! Two days after our move, we noticed that a milk crate with some items in it was missing. We emailed Martina and she responded right away that Luis would check on the missing crate. Luis called us a couple of hours later to tell us that he found the crate. As it happens, the crew uses black milk crates to transport their tape, rope, etc., so they didn't see it right away when they were unloading. That same afternoon, Luis stopped by and brought us the missing crate. I highly recommend Bargain Movers! Don't be fooled by the name. In this case, you will get a bargain AND quality
