"This was an emergency service as I could not take the chirping any longer.  It is funny when you find a company that says emergency service but when you say you need them you get the run around.  
I called Michael and Son - could not get service (emergency service) for Saturday or Sunday - need to schedule.  Called Kolb Electric their technician was in West Virginia and just for the service/travel fee it was $300 that did not include the cost for the work.  I called Mister Sparky - no emergency appointment.  
Then I lucked up and tried S & S.  The technician was understanding and willing to come out right away.  Finally a real 24/7 establishment.  He came and fixed our smoke detector quick, fast, and even waited to make sure no issues.  He even said if we had any problems to call him back.  We are so pleased we plan to call them for all our future electrical needs.  
I will remember that everything individual's put on their website is not true, that these places that say they will get you someone is not true, and you really have to support those that stand behind their words.  The entire household is very pleased to finally get a good night of rest.

"Bowden installed an electrical outlet to operate an electric shad in the foyer, recessed light above the garage entryway and a ceiling fan. Plus the electrician was on time, very courteous and respectful, used drop clothes and shoe covers to minimize dirt, swept and vacuumed area, and reasonably priced. They receive an AAA plus. "On June 10, I had a company to install security equipment in my home. In doing so, the installer drilled through a wire and I did not have electricity in several outlets due to the damage. Since the company did not have an electrician on staff and was unable to refer me to anyone, I turned to Angie’s List for help in finding someone to correct the problem. I called Hands on Electric on June 11 and spoke to the owner, Kevin Williams. I explained my problem to Mr. Williams and he gave me a window of time in which he would be able to come out. Not only was he able to come out the same day that I called, but Mr. Williams was able to come much earlier than expected. Once he arrived he was able to trouble shoot and diagnose the problem. Mr. Williams was very, very friendly, professional and honest. He was able to answer my husband’s questions and explained what he was doing as he made the repairs. My husband was very happy about that and we were both impressed by the years of experience Mr. Williams had for his age. I have been looking for an electrician for a while now and have decided that I will be using Hands on Electric for all of my future projects.
