"Absolutely the best! Skip was on time, got info on what I needed done, and started to work. He replaced a GFCI plug in my kitchen and explained to me why the old plug wasn't working correctly. He then looked at my existing security light on my garage and immediately explained that he could repair it, rather than replace it, thus saving me money (so I could return the new light I'd purchased). Apparently, the existing security lamp needed a reconfiguration, so it could use a plain floodlight. He repaired it in about 20 mins. and it works great. I had purchased a special offer for Electricians on Call ($105 for the first hour's labor), and Skip got both jobs done within the one hour. My only extra charge was for the new GFCI plug, which I had requested when I made the appointment a few days ago. I specifically called Electricians on Call because of all the great reviews they received from other clients, and I'm glad I did. Skip was completely professional, and I appreciated his consideration in explaining what he would be repairing. I'll be calling Electricians on Call for more upcoming projects, like installing new ceiling fans, replacing existing outlets, etc. A great group to work with!"

"Install was easy. Up front cost was pretty low with Angie's List coupon. Monthly price is a little high compared to competing companies. Response time with alarms is excellent. I was advised to use glass break alarms within 10 ft of my first floor windows, which we installed correctly. I asked prior to installation if having one in the kitchen would cause false alarms due to dishes clanging, etc. I was told the glass break alarms are configured to a precise frequency that alarms with breaking glass. So, not a "no", but not really an answer. Well, every time we cook dinner, wash dishes or empty the dish washer, the kitchen glass break alarm gives a warning which would sound the alarm if it was set. This has caused us a number of false alarms while we've been away due to shifting bowls or plates in our drying rack. For the first several we've had to pay our police department $120 to check the house, and I was only notified after the first alarm that there was a cheaper option for a security company to drive by to check for a break in."
