We had a wonderful experience with Splash Painting & Remodeling. Rene is excellent at selecting and managing the best contractors. We had our bathroom gutted with updates of everything from walls, tile, electrical, plumbing, fixtures, lighting, and cabinetry. Many contractors only seemed to work with stock cabinetry from the store, but Rene had arranged for custom cabinetry which perfectly meets our needs. We are very happy with the results.

DO NOT HIRE. Beware if the Owner. Contractors did a fantastic job. Wanted 8ft and 8ft to eventually build a top floor. They gave me 9ft to roof and another 7ft for 2nd floor. I asked for another 1ft and to bill me materials of needed via email at 7pm. The next day my father who speaks very limited spanish asked the contractors to raise it up another 1ft. And got an ok from them. We left the issue at that. That evening I come home from work and its only 16ft, not 17. I call Rene the owner and he says he has not checked his email. (It's now been 24 hours since I sent it to him) he also tells me that he does not check his emails at night and cannot change the specs now as the frame is already there. DO NOT HIRE. If the owner is to lazy to check his emails he does not deserve to be on Angie's list. Btw, I am not blaming the contractors as they chkd with owner but received no new instructions since owner never chkd his email. We now have to add additional cost to dig ground

"Built a patio cover and finished out above and beyond contract. Height to 16’. Tied into roof for professional finished look. I told customer he would have to pay to raise the additional foot above agreement and he refused. I reached out again and he doesn’t respond."

We couldn't be more thrilled with how our home turned out! Splash Painting and Remodeling exceeded our expectations and our timeframe! We needed a total renovation which included all new floors, new paint (inside & out) kitchen cabinets, counters & backsplash, two bathrooms with new counters, cabinets, tubs, toilets, & sinks. All new lighting throughout the house and plumbing fixes. We got a quote in early January and they started work the next day! They finished the entire home in 5-6 weeks. The pricing is fair and competitive and they worked with us on our budget. Rene and his team are very professional and we would use them again on our next project. We highly recommend this company!

Rene came out quickly and measured and verified all that we needed within hours. Explained work,costs involved and time required. He was over 25% less and the other bids, provided the countertop exactly as we requested and with no splices. Others contractors said they'd have to have a seam. Rene got it all started early and completed ahead of schedule including the countertop, sink and cabinets and even modified components as needed. I highly recommend him for any remodel and will definitely have him back for our bathrooms in the future

My wife and I purchased a home "flip" from Rene Fournet and his wife Missy in the Summer of 2018. Rene Fournet hid many defects from our home inspector forcing us to spend over $100,000 in repairs within the first 90 days. The entire home flooded the VERY FIRST DAY we moved in ! Roof leaked during the very first heavy rain storm. PERMITS WERE NOT PULLED FOR ANY WORK PERFORMED ! Lighting fixtures that would do nothing Kitchen cabinets doors that would not close Lack of a front door threshold Windows that would not shut Roof exhaust fan not screwed to base that wind knocked off MAJOR CRACK THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE LIVING ROOM CEILING Rene Fournet offered us a six-month "Home Warranty" with no paperwork detailing exactly what was covered. Rene would pick and choose what he would repair. Rene has also changed his company name several times over the last three years. Our advice is to stay far away from Rene Fournet.
