Small jobs welcome

"We were extremely pleased with this company from the prompt estimate for the marble cleaning, polishing and sealing. The crew showed up on time every day for 8 days. Louis and Bobby were careful with the carpet and woodwork. They were perfectionist about the prep, cleaning, polishing, and sealing of our marble floors, counters and table. Our marble looks like the day is was first installed. They brought it back to life. Louis is the Michelangelo of Marble floors. Kem Keeton and his team are dedicated to quality work and service."

Customers say: Quality work

"Outstanding repair experience. Our shower was leaking. Primo started the repair and explained why we had the leak. Very cheap installation by the previous contractor. No pan just some sort of water proof paint. What a mess. Primo and his grandson completed the project in a few days and does it look great! We will contact Primo in the future if we have any other tile or grout issues. Thanks!!"

"Jorge was so detailed oriented. He has been to my home 3 times in the past for other projects. He did an absolutely outstanding job every time. This is by far the best tile restoration's company. I had a shower leak and Jorge not only replaced tile but the entire baking as well. Cesar was the person they sent to bid the job and he was knowledgeable and the price could not be beat."

Marble Restoration questions, answered by experts

The frequency for sealing marble countertops depends on several factors, including the quality and color of the stone, the type of sealant used, and the amount of traffic the surface receives. Marble has a porous surface that requires sealing to maintain its shine and resist scratches. As a general rule, you should seal countertops at least once a year. However, for heavily used surfaces, like those in a busy kitchen or family bathroom, you may need to reseal them every three to six months. Conversely, countertops in a rarely used guest bathroom might only need resealing every few years.

It is not recommended to put a hot pan directly on a marble countertop. While marble is heat-resistant, it is not completely heat-proof, and extreme or prolonged exposure to high heat can cause discoloration, cracking, or chipping. Pans may also scratch or nick the surface. To protect your countertop and maintain its integrity, always use trivets or hot pads. Note that faux marble finishes do not resist heat and require protection from hot items at all times.

It typically costs $1.25 to $4 per linear foot to repair a granite countertop seam, though the costs will vary depending on whether you do it yourself or hire a pro. The costs will also depend on the extent of the seam and whether your countertops have any additional issues. Granite countertop repairs cost $200 to $1,200, depending on the problem.

Quartzite countertops are porous, meaning that liquids can seep into the stone and stain them. You’ll need to seal them before installing and resealing annually, depending on use and stone material. Sealing will help prevent stains and etching. On the other hand, you don’t need to seal quartz and other engineered stone countertops since they aren’t porous.

You can’t change the color of the stone, but you can update granite countertops without replacing them by painting them. Because granite is a porous material, you’ll want to seal them first before painting them so that the paint doesn’t hurt the surface. This is important because you don’t want to devalue your counters by damaging the original surface; even if you don’t like the color now, you or a new homeowner may want to remove the paint someday and return them to their original color. You can also cover them with
