The door was removed and adjusted to cause the lock to line up evenly and efficiently so the key could be inserted and removed with ease. The door now operates as it should. "The work was started on a Friday, but rain interrupted the work. The final two clear coats were done the following Monday afternoon. The door color and wood grain appearance look as good now when it was new. The refinishing process requires that the door be removed and laid out on sawhorses. The work was all done in my front yard. I have a storm door, so no temporary sheeting was necessary. If it had not started raining, the whole process would have been completed in about 6 hours."
