We hired John Wood of JAW Construction to transform a building shell originally intended to be a shop for building trusses into a small house (officially an auxiliary dwelling unit or ADU) and are thrilled we found him. The job required skills that extended beyond new construction to include the insight, skill and craftsmanship of a highly experienced remodeling expert. He possessed these in spades. Beyond his own expertise, he has assembled a set of sub-contractors that are excellent craftsmen in their own areas of expertise. The job was doubly challenging given that for much of the construction period we were out of state getting our old home ready for sale. This also meant that an extra element of trust was involved. John sent us pictures of the progress, so that we could monitor from a distance. In addition, he was able to identify and rectify several flaws in our design. As with any large construction/remodeling project, there were some unexpected expenses that came up, but John worked with us to help limit cost overruns, sometimes foregoing profits. He was also always up front about the costs of the various components. Our new home is gorgeous and reflects his sharp eye for detail. We couldn’t be happier. "Cesar and Miguel from Golden Hawk General Contractors were communicative and responsive. We had a freak spring snow storm cause a large branch from a Douglas Fir tree to crash into our roof, penetrating in two places. They were one of several companies I contacted and the first to commit to the work. They came out very quickly and resolved the immediate issue by removing the branches and debris before tarping the area. After the insurance company reviewed the claim and I got several bids, I chose Golden Hawk to complete the repair work. They came out and did a great job. covered all of our concerns, provided excellent workmanship and priced it reasonably. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them."

"Hired integrity construction to raise a small section of an attic ceiling to match the height and shape of the rest of the ceiling and to make a half bath bigger by moving a wall into some dead space. Their framing, drywall installation, mudding and taping were excellent. Their suggestions on how to make the bathroom bigger were great and resulted in a tiny half bath becoming a roomy one. These people know their stuff. Will definitely call them again for my next remodeling project."
