"Pepe and his crew did an awesome job replacing my sewer line in South Santa Fe! Their price was very competitive and their workmanship was top notch. They got the necessary permits and started work the same day. The team worked very hard cutting out an 80’ section of driveway, digging by hand to the old sewer line, replacing it with new cleanouts and back flow valve, backfilling and packing the dirt and pouring new concrete. What a huge effort and a fabulous job done by NE Plumbing & Heating! I highly recommend them! "

"We had a bathroom remodel. The experience was unpleasant .Sales person Nicolette provided a lot of inaccurate info.We found that the need to pay 80% of the remodel upfront concerning. We have 11 pets and concerned for their safety and stress. Nicolette said demo 1 day installation 1 day floors day 3.Also told crew of 4-5 and bathroom safe sealed useable nightly-not true. The project took 1 month! The bathroom floor was removed with nails sticking out, the walls were torn off left uncovered, large hole in floor left open, toilet sitting in bedroom 2 weeks. We put tarps on ground and garbage bags on walls for safety. Not informed of a 10-14 day delay for the shower walls to be cut. We asked about painting were told we dont paint. We had some mold from shower leak that ruined the door casing it was left off contract for repacement. Contract stated we provide flooring. No mention of baseboards or underlining for LVP.We had to provide the underlying and argue for baseboards. The door casing was cut off at the bottom, an old piece of baseboard was put in place, was told to paint over it looks terrible.Had tile removed and LVP layed caused large gaps under doors looks bad. In May we were contacted by David about a cancelatiion .We accepted the spot needed a Tuesday start all was set.Friday before received call from David saying needed Monday start. Didnt work for us. He got rude & upset didnt understand why we didn't want a lock box. We were not comfortable. On day 1 of construction only 2 people showed, one newbie. After day 9 experienced person pulled from job. Comunication overall was horrible. Scheduling tasks was very chaotic and last minute We felt our project was low priority. Nicolette said she would be supervising, and in contact with us through process. She never called or came by . Window stucco crew was messy and had to come back and redo the stucco because it was too thick and cracked. Some days we had 30 minute notice or night before call .We had to waste a lot of vacation days.We emailed David about this and got no response. We saw the process and theres no way it could have been done in three days as promised by Nicolette Onyx shower pan has 3 areas that are scratched by installation. After quartz shower wall installation we were left with black caukling all over ceiling. There is excess silcone on shower walls. Shower curtain rod was hung higher than standard without asking. After shower head was installed we had a leak on valve controller. During repair it was discovered it was silconed even with hole drilled for it. Later had to be redrilled and hard mounted to the wall. There are scratches on the new shower head. Excessive silicone on grab bar water valve and a large silicone finger print. The base of the shower pan was left dirty and could not remove the stains.. Received no cleaning/care instructions. Received no warranty information Emailed Nicolette and were sent a blurry screen shot of a google article on what to use to clean the walls and base.We used vinegar and dishsoap as suggested and it still did not remove the stains. The walls that were newly built were sprayed with texture. This created over spray onto walls that should have been covered in plastic and protected. One wall looks like it has two completely different textures on it now from over spray. Some of the rounded walls built for the closet keep dropping bits of texture even with primer and paint. We had to argue for a door on our closet apparently doors are not part of a closet. We were not given a heads up about the closet shelves being permanently affixed to the wall or we would have painted the closet before. We waited three weeks for someone to contact us about our final inspection. We then contacted David. He was rude told us common sense should have told you to paint first and over spray is within industry standards and our sales person should have informed us of that.He then agreed to come out but warned us you wont like hearing what i can and can not fix. During his visit we pointed out texture overspray, black silicone on ceiling, silicone on shower walls, and dirty base pan. David was gas lighting us by telling us we keep a very nice home and we cannot expect perfection in a remodel. He offered to send out someone to sand the texture and paint at a cost to us and he did have someone come out to clean the shower and base. He reititerated all the flaws we pointed out are all within industry standards. The base of the shower got cleaned but the walls still full of silcone. We asked about our warranty and he said Home Pros 2 year warranty is better than the manufacture warranty- Delta offers a lifetime warranty. The worker that came to clean the shower base told the office that quartz people need to come out and clean the shower walls, Its been a week and nothing. We haven't been able to use our shower yet due to these issues. Don't expect perfection with Home Pros Remodeling because they will only offer you industry standard."

Babcock Construction in Albuquerque specializes in general remodeling and custom home building. We stand out by offering the convenience of accepting all major credit cards. Contact us today to bring your dream home to life!

"This was a trial job before a potential kitchen removal. It involved moving our boiler a short distance, walling off the area, fixing the floor, some electrical. The Babcock family themselves professional but didn't follow thru with the subs. The subs were only concerned with doing the fastest, cheapest job they could do (classic example is on the plumbing rework, the plumber substituted PEX for copper and the former isn't rated for the latter job)."

Albuquerque Plumbing, Heating & Cooling is a locally owned company in the business of resolving your plumbing, HVAC and electrical needs 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. With over 50 years of combined experience, we understand the field of plumbing, HVAC and electrical, and we have the ability to provide you with unparalleled service.

"Circuit breaker in garage was intermittently tripping. Scheduled appointment and received confirmation email for 3 PM on Monday, 3/4/2019. Receive call at 9:26 AM that technician is at my door. They mistakenly set the appointment for 10 AM. No problem, I took leave from work to meet them. They conducted somewhat superficial inspection concluding that there may be an overload (15-amp circuit) and that one of the connected appliances was culprit. They measured amps being pulled by only one appliance (mini-fridge at 4 amps) and concluded it must be the cause. I permenantly unplugged fridge and they installed new circuit breaker. They also closed off an outlet on a different circuit that was connected to a light switch in a different room (previous homeowners feculent install). Charge was $96.55; they did not charge for the new circuit breaker. I head back to work. Return home around 4:30 PM and circuit breaker has tripped again. I call Clayton (service tech) at 4:46 PM and ask him to advise. We conclude that I should systematically diagnose each appliance on my own to see which could be causing overload. I do so and determine that no matter which single appliance is plugged in, the circuit breaker still trips intermittently. I call Albuquerque Plumbing at 10:59 AM on Wednesday, 3/6/19 to request either a refund or to have technician diagnose further. Customer representative states that if they send out a tech, they charge an hourly fee of $110 no matter what, even though original diagnosis was seemingly not thorough nor conclusive enough to perform the work that was done. I state I will have a different company perform diagnosis and representative responds that if another company alters work performed by Albuquerque Plumbing, it will void their warranty (which makes sense, but I’m not concerned about a warranty on work that didn’t resolve the problem). I have a gentleman named Joe Wojcik with Powerhouse Electric come to diagnose. He spent 2.5 hours diagnosing everything on the circuit very thoroughly and was very professional. At the time, we thought cause was a loose connection at GFCI outlet. Charge was only $75. Ultimately, this didn’t resolve the tripping breaker. After posting initial review of service, Albuquerque Plumbing called and asked if they could come back out to diagnose further at no additional cost. I agreed. They spent about 1.5 hours diagnosing the circuit and all connections thoroughly but were still unable to reach a confident conclusion. We parted company under the impression that one of my tenants must be plugging in a malfunctioning appliance on occasion that is shorting and tripping the breaker. About 15 minutes after they leave, the breaker tripped while I was standing in front of the panel. This was perfect because I was able to determine that no one was using any appliance on the circuit at that time. knowing this, I was able to unilaterally diagnose certain lines on the circuit by disconnecting them and waiting to see if breaker trips. I believe I have isolated the problem cable on the circuit and will have it replaced."

Repair Sewer Line questions, answered by experts

Roto-Rooter does not charge by the hour, so the quote you get after your in-person consultation should cover the whole project. This includes the time it takes a technician to get to your house and the time it takes to complete the job. For context, a plumber will charge anywhere from $45 to $200 per hour, but you may also pay a service fee or flat fee.

While flooding is always cause for alarm, certain situations are considered more urgent than others. If there is water pooling anywhere in your basement, it’s time to call a local emergency plumber ASAP. Standing water in your basement could be from a plumbing leak or from cracks in your foundation—either situation can go from minor to major very quickly. On average, the cost to hire an emergency plumber ranges from $100 and $500, depending on the scope of the repair and when you call them—calling an emergency plumber on the weekend or on a holiday will cause the rate to jump.

You'll likely work with electricians, plumbers, and your local utility companies to connect your home. Many people breaking ground on new land hire architectural or structural engineers to oversee utility hookups because this is a complicated process that involves trenching new lines through your property. If you’re not sure where to start, hire a local structural engineer to help you start the process of installing utilities.

This depends on the location of the blockage. If the blockage is in your home’s system, anywhere in the system, it is your responsibility as a homeowner. Blockages seldom happen because of items or buildup coming from the city, which means it originates in the home. It becomes the city’s responsibility at the exact point your home’s line distributes waste into the city’s system. The exception is if the problem in your home damages the city lines.

Even with a high-resolution camera, what you're looking at on the screen may not be recognizable to the untrained eye. Your plumber should be willing to walk you through the video and explain what they found.
