We had a first-rate experience with this renovation team. They truly helped us realize the vision of what we imagined, and beautiful results were delivered. A home project of this scale is daunting to say the least and if issues arose they were addressed and resolved. We are absolutely thrilled with how everything turned out and would hire them again.

Felipe and his crew did a large project for me (back porch) and myriad smaller items to repair our new home. Short version: I'll definitely be using them again and recommending them, but you need to be engaged. They are not a set-and-forget crew. In general, the quality of the work is high. The porch is exactly as we imagined it and we're quite happy. The only issues I have with some of the work is the fit and finish. Roofing nails missing the joists weren't redone, so now there are nails hanging into my porch. The ramset nails they used to attach the base plate to the concrete pad had some kind of wax/rubber around them which wasn't completely removed prior to painting, so there are weird nubs sticking up on the base plate. Some of the screws on door moulding weren't puttied over. The biggest issue I had with them was communication and scheduling. Felipe forgot a few parts of the project and things got dropped a few times. It worked out because I was paying close attention, but I think he may just have too much going on so things will fall between the cracks. Scheduling was a regular issue. Our project took place right outside of our bedroom, so we wanted to know the night before if they would be there. It was about 50/50 whether they'd give us that heads up. They also broke an expensive high security lock and I was not reimbursed or discounted. On the scale of the project, it was a rounding error in cost, but it's the principle of the matter on that one.

Excellent!!! Couldn't ask for a better job. Professionalism from Tim and Gonzalo all the way. They completed and cleaned everything and left the area beautiful. I give this company and these (2) employees 5 stars plus.

Remarkably well! PCB laid the foundation last fall, 2019. They were careful to match its elevation to the existing house and didn't miss it by even a quarter inch. The main construction started om April 6, 2020 and finished on June 23, 2020. The work was done as per the approved plans and better. We were very impressed with the owners ( Mr. Felipe Silva) attention to detail and prompt responses to our questions or concerns and requested revisions or upgrades. The workmen conducted themselves very professionally and were highly skilled at their crafts. They were also a lot of fun to visit with. We were particularity pleased with the carpentry and roofing skill it took to blend the new addition into the original house and a prior addition. The tile work, cabinetry, counter tops, stucco and wall finishing/paint are all beautiful. Less visible is the plumbing and electrical work it took to tie the buildings together. Once again, very well done. The project came in on budget, plus the cost of the upgrades we requested, and had approved prior to work beginning. I'd recommend PCB to anyone interested in a quality remodel project. They are a really excellent group of people.

We are extremely happy with how the renovation turned out. The contractor was completely professional, as well as their crews. They provided recommendations and were prompt in responding to our request. The craftsmanship of their crews was impeccable. I would refer this contractor to family and friends without hesitation.

Felipe and all of his employees were great! Did a big remodel on our master bath and moved bravely from the 70s to the 21st century! Huge walk in shower and custom vanity is gorgeous! Felipe and Art checked in with us on all decisions and made some excellent recommendations. Finished within the timeline discussed. We have another bathroom to go and will definitely be calling Professional Contracting Builders!

CONS - 1st - We gave the company a down payment on 11/1/19, and they did not start the job until January 6, 2020, and never gave us a reason for the delay. We kept trying to make contact with Felipe Silva and he would keep giving us dates, and then would never start. So, we had to keep calling and harassing them for a definitive date. It took us 2 months to get that date. 2nd - The (Foreman/Lead Worker),Felipe Silva had horrible communication skills, he would not contact us with status, when they would be arriving and constantly left us waiting and wondering. I have nothing nice to say about Felipe, he was cocky, arrogant and did not listen to anything the homeowner had to say. He would always try to put the blame on the homeowner. We had a constant battle with this individual. He never took responsibility for his actions, just always trying to blame someone else. Horrible professional!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 3rd - Felipe would tell us one thing about what was going to be done, and do another and then act like he never said that. Also, he would try to nickle and dime us for every little thing. 4th - The individual that laid the concrete slab in our kept having his female friend come to our house, he was doing a job, she should have never been at the site location while he was working. Also, the concrete slab is not level. 5th - The individuals that did the wall remodeling in the bathroom made a big hole in the adjacent wall and did a horrible job patching it, and never fixed it. After they were done texturing the walls, I had to go back to fix and sand before I painted, and it was supposed to be paint ready, which it wasn't. Was very unhappy with these workers. 6th - The quality of the cabinets they ordered were okay. We wanted to get our own, but Felipe said it would take forever to order the ones we wanted from Lowes, but it took forever to get the cabinets they ordered. We kept having to return the cabinets due to problems, scratches, not painted properly, warped, wrong size, which Felipe measured and then tried to say we measured wrong. Wish I would have put my foot down when it came to the cabinets. 7th - The plumber that did the work on the bathroom & kitchen was horrible. First, he rushed in installing the bathroom sink and it leaked, which caused one of the bathroom walls to get saturated, which we had to dry so it wouldn't get mold. When installing the kitchen sink he thought he was done, but when I check underneath the sink water was gushing all over, and I had to point this out to him as he was walking away to leave. It turns out that he had the wrong size gasket for the pipes. And, I had to clean up the mess because he didn't even after I handed him a towel. He was rude, unprofessional and didn't seem to care for his job. PROS 1st - Gonzalo, the gentleman that did the tile work in my bathroom was great. The tile work is beautiful and precise. I love walking into my bathroom & seeing such professional work. He took his time, made sure to measure just right, was very pleasant and professional the whole time. I would love to hire just him again. 2nd - Tim & Vincent, the gentleman that installed our cabinets were also great. They did great work in leveling our cabinets, because we have any old house with uneven walls. Very professional and pleasant. Vincent installed a wall between two adjacent rooms, and did a great job with installation and texturing the wall. It would be nice to hire these individuals without the company. All and all, I would not recommend this company, just the 3 gentleman I mentioned.

Great! The construction team was amazing! Super high-quality craftsmanship. They worked non-stop each day that they were here and did a beautiful job. And, they thoroughly cleaned up the construction areas each day before they left. It looked better than before they came! Plus, they are just really nice guys. The whole process from our initial visit to the office, through discussion of plans, cost estimates, any needed adjustments, payment schedule, etc. was easy, flexible and friendly. The only reason for the "B" on punctuality was because the project was done during the winter and the team had to juggle weather, holidays, and other projects so it took a little longer than initially expected since the time of our first payment until completion. But the fact that they have to balance other projects just speaks to the fact that the company has a good reputation and is in demand! And, if the project were not done in the winter there would be fewer delays that are totally beyond the crew's control. So this really isn't a big deal. In terms of daily work punctuality, the team arrived as soon as it was light in the morning, and always showed up on the days that they said they would, which is really refreshing compared to past experiences with other businesses. The overall price was totally reasonable and a great value considering the high quality of the work and the final project. It was exactly what we were looking for and exceeded expectations. Needless to say, we are very happy with the completed project and would recommend Professional Contracting to anyone, any time.

Felipe and his team did an amazing job installing our new kitchen backsplash! Felipe gave me a competitive and accurate quote almost immediately (on the weekend!), and was able to start as soon as we had the materials on hand. Everyone we interacted with was kind, considerate, communicative, and trustworthy, and the work they did was of the highest quality! We'll definitely be using them again for future projects!

There were several layers of old asphalt roofing replaced with a new metal roof. The facia needed to be repaired and old vents removed.

Contractor replaced a walk-in shower with one they picked out. Work was very professional, and they completed it in a reasonable time including the wallboard repair and floor tile replacement. Also rebuilt back step risers that were starting to rot out. They were good to work with.

I was referred to PCB by a co worker and decided to get a quote for the total remodel of my two bathrooms. They provided me with multiple renderings to show me what the bathrooms would look like (I changed my mind a lot!). That really helped me see the project and what to expect the final outcome to be. Not only were they very professional but they were very patient with me and understanding of my budget. So, i decided to hire them for the job. We had the work start while we were out of the country and within that two weeks they were able to get the entire project within a few days of completion! I trusted their team to be home while I was gone. They were very courteous of my home and the mess the demolition made. I would highly recommend PCB for any project! I will definitely hire them in the future.

I would not recommend Professional Contracting Builders LLC to anyone. They are not professional, fail to comply with building standards, and their work is sub-standard. Once the contractor gets the signed contract and receives the first and second major payments, they do not visit the work site to ensure that work is being done as promised. They assigned a contract manager that is basically inexperienced and lacking in attention to detail. We kept the owner-contractor fully informed, by email, listing items that concerned us. He came to our house displaying an irritative behavior and gave us an ultimatum to stop the emails or he would end further work on the contract. He left our house in an angry mood and walked out on the contract, leaving us with unfinished work. They used unlicensed employees to do the electrical and plumbing work. Light switches were not properly coordinated with lighting and had to be redone. They refused to install GFIs where we requested them, for the microwave and the toaster oven. Receptacle cutouts were sloppy and some cutouts were larger than the cover plates show gaps around the cover plates. We had to insist on a licensed contractor to reconnect our electric stove top. Relocation of the refrigerator water line was done twice and was done by an unlicensed plumber. We're still not sure if the connections were properly sealed and if there are no leaks in the subfloor. While working on this item, the employee forced the refrigerator against the countertop and damaged the refrigerator door. They did replace the refrigerator door after about a 2-month delay. The finished drywall, painting, and flooring looked substandard. Drywall work was done twice and patchwork and re-framed door joint outlines were clearly visible. They left gaps on the hardwood flooring, the transition from wood floor to tile on door threshold was left uneven and shoddy, paint smears were left on all light fixture trims, sloppy tile work (large visible gap) in the pantry. To complete our remodel, we had to hire other, more competent contractors to do the hardwood floors, the pantry shelving, fireplace hearth, tile work, and cleanup of blotched paint and drywall on finished trim.

Overall, they do good work and we were very satisfied with the end result. Our project manager, Cyndee, was wonderful! We had her cell number and communicated with her almost daily during the process. Sometimes she noticed things that needed to be changed or fixed even before we did, which was nice. The process took longer than expected due to an unforeseen supplier issue, but Professional Contracting Builders were good about making it up to us however they could. Not every detail was done correctly or to our liking the first time, but they were good about communicating and coming back to re-do the details until we were satisfied. We did have major issues with one of the subcontractors, but those were addressed by Cyndee and ultimately the sub came back (multiple times) and fixed the issues. All the other subs were GREAT and did excellent work! We would hire them again.

It was a great experience. The contractor gave us a good quote and there were no surprises. The work was completed in a timely manner without the job dragging on. If I had questions, I was given answers immediately.

The team cane early, were professional, timely and cleaned up at the end of each day. We could not have been more impressed with Art DeLaCerda, Cindy the project manager and the carpenters were all great! We will hire again and came in on budget and within timeline - reasonable price.
