BARNETT ALDON IRONWORKS

I have to say, I rarely get to comment on a company's customer service. However, not only to I want to say that I love the hand rails that Barnett Aldon manufactured for my house, when I brought a photo of a finish defect on the handrails, the immediate response was, "Let's see when we can pick them up for refinishing." I've used other iron works in the past and tried to get 6 different bids before contracting these rails with Barnett Aldon, but only two people even came out to bid the job and I didn't even hear from the other 4. Barnett Aldon had the better price by far and clearly stood behind their quality. I won't be reaching out to anyone else in the future.

I have been using Barnett Aldon for many years, both in my current house and in my old house. Their quality is unsurpassed, but what really stands out, in my mind, is their commitment to their customers. If anything is a bit out of whack someone will come and check it out. That's what happened with me today. Don, the owner, came out to make an adjustment -- he was in and out in less than ten minutes, and problem solved. This is a company that stands behind its products!

I was very pleased with their professional and excellent work. They came on time, and worked until the job was done. Amazing work ethics and skills.

I'd had a previous horrible experience with another business trying to have this gate replaced, so I was extremely hesitant to deal with another company. I explained my situation to Liz, and she assured me they would communicate with me and deliver as promised. They did. Don came out to take measurements and provide the estimate. It was a tad more than I wanted to pay, but the results speak for themselves. Liz communicated with me throughout the process, and they arrived on the scheduled day at the scheduled time to install my new gate. No damage to the gate, house, or wall. It's absolutely gorgeous. I'm so grateful to them for being so understanding and professional.

I have used Barnett Alden Ironworks for several homes over the last 15 or so years. The quality of the work and service has not changed. They made customer doors for me on several occasions that looked and functioned wonderfully. The people who work are on time and very professional. I would not hesitate to recommend their service.

We had our front door installed in May 2019 and have been completely pleased with it, so these 17 months later we needed a side door done exactly the same, and salesman (Don) showed up exactly on the minute that was scheduled (a rarity in Albuquerque) and streamlined thru this new customized project of which I have no doubt will be smooth when they get it in down the road, yes, I'd recommend this outfit

Barnett Aldon Ironworks custom-designed, fabricated, and installed a new gate to our side yard. It looks classy, operates smoothly; all in all a major improvement. Job was very professional. Highly recommended!

The gate and the door were manufactured with best practices. They were installed without any modifications and the fit was perfect. Great product. The doors far exceeded my expectations. The team arrived on time with all the required material and kit. The installation went flawlessly. Team members paid special attention to the detail of work performed. The crew was very professional and courteous. They answered all my questions and concerns. I will definitely hire them again if I need addition gates, doors or any of the other products that they offer.

We wanted security grills on our windows and were leery of them looking "industrial". With New Mexico's high quality, pure air, we like to sleep with the windows open, but do not want that to be an invitation to intruders. Kyle from Barnett Aldon Ironworks came out and helped us choose designs, functions, colors, etc. from their wide array of attractive choices. All along the way he had excellent suggestions that added to our enthusiasm for the project. He brought us drawings for our final approval and they were just as we had talked about. Kyle and Mike from Barnett Aldon Ironworks did the installation. They arrived on time, worked efficiently, and cleaned up after the projects. They took the time to show us how to work the emergency release features on the window grills, and adjusted the pressure required for us to use them. In the end the window grills actually enhance the beauty of our windows. Great job, Barnett Aldon!

Great--from the sales visit to the installation, everyone was professional, helpful, and knowledgeable. The doors are exactly what I wanted at a price which was sensible.

We had our security doors installed 5 years ago and they have been an excellent addition to our home. Recently we had a door knob malfunction (due to years of extensive use) and called the service provider to provide an estimate to fix. No more than one hour later Don showed up and fixed the issue. The promptness and professionalism was greatly appreciated. In 5 years this has been the only issue we have had. The security doors were built and installed with durability in mind, and the design fits perfectly into the overall aesthetic.

We’re very happy with our new security door! From start to finish it took 5 weeks. The employees are all friendly and knowledgeable. I was able to get an estimate of 3 different designs quickly. Installation was an hour and a half, and Joe made sure it was done right. He explained the features of our door and was great to work with. The door itself is secure and sealed from loud noise and weather. We can’t wait to use this year round, swapping out the glass and screen as needed. I’d recommend this company to anyone!

The installers did a beautiful job, they were quick and cleaned up after themselves. The made sure the security bars were level and at maximum height. I also had this company do security skylights, windows, & doors, on my daughter's townhouse too. I highly recommend this company for excellence in their various designs.

Beautiful design! Professional owner and crew. Had a problem several months after it was installed. I called the company and they came out immediately. They took railing back and fixed the problem. I look forward to working with this company again.

It went very well, they even had the color I wanted. The grille for the window is on a room with a fixed iron grille on the other window. The one they installed can be opened from inside the room for emergency. I didn't know that was required (am very glad it is!) but they were on top of the issue. Workers were efficient, did very good work, got everything right the first time, and were polite

They fabricated and installed the new gate in a timely manner, and were attempting to get our security bars fabricated as well. However, we had so many questions about the installation and the design of the bars, we asked them to go ahead with the gate and install the bars and a later date. All through the project, from the initial meeting and estimates, through the fabrication and installation, the folks there were polite and patient and answered all our questions. The installation was completed on the specified date. We are very, very satisfied! They did an excellent job!

Awesome. First, I made at least 5 trips to his office/showroom to look at many album pics of work already completed. Also at their showroom they have many examples of different scroll work, doors, paint, hardware, and designs of the ironwork. Don and a helper came out and installed everything in one day, I could not have been more impressed with the professionalism of the company, and especially of the work done. I can now have my sliders and front door open with just the security doors locked, and enjoy the breezes all night long! I got extras such as large antique levers (instead of door knobs) and privacy screens on the patio gate and front door. I would highly recommend both items! Whole job was well worth the cost.

In a word, perfect! The owner came out personally and measured our installation; it was a patio double door. He presented photo album of their standard doors that was extensive with many attractive options. We settled on one, and gave him a deposit. They custom build all of their doors to my knowledge and we needed a custom installation. Installation was done according as promised and the result is wonderful. We live in a rural setting and we wanted an attractive but secure door for the back of our house. The price was actually competitive with generic doors from big box store when you consider the custom fit and install. It has been over a year now, and the door operates flawlessly.
