"I bought a house knowing the HVAC needed to be replaced. I received two quotes, one from Steve at Home Comort, and another from a contractor recommended by a family member. The biggest challenge was addressing an addition off the back of the house that was not serviced by the existing HVAC system in the house. Contractor #1 wanted to replace the HVAC for the existing portion of the system, and then install a separate "Mitsubishi" system to address the addition. This was going to cost an additional $8,000 and wasn't really an option due to budget.
Steve's solution was to run duct work into the addition and "zone" the system. I spoke to contractor #1 about this idea and he was adamant it wouldn't work for a number of reasons. I spoke to Steve about the other contractor's concerns and he was able to walk me through why the other contractor was mistaken on his theories as to why the system wouldn't work. He aslo gave me a guaranty that if the newly installed zone for the addition didn't work, he would remove it and I wouldn't have to pay for it. That made the decision to go with Home Comfort Systems a no brainer.
The install had a few snags, but they were able to troubleshoot on the spot and figure out a solution. The install crew did a great job and were able to complete the install in about 12 hours on a Saturday.
Home Comfort also did work for a family member of mine who needed his AC unit replaced. Steve went over on Sunday morning and gave him a quote and completed the install that week.

Because of the cramped quarters in our boiler room, they had to remove part of one wall for the installation but they were careful to notify us of this beforehand to get our OK, and to perform the removal in a way that made the repair easy.
