"Professional and courteous staff. Punctual. The issues I have pertain to two projects. The first was the installation of a high end Thermador induction range top. The technician dropped the range top when installing is, breaking a large portion of the glass surface. It took over two months to get the replacement cover. After that, the technician returned three times to try to attach the top to the range, and it has never again been fully functional. It is difficult to power on and power off (which creates some fear and uncertainty, if, say, we cannot power it off), and we don't have the ability to use mid-range power. Subsequent attempts to have this repaired or replaced have been futile, as the technician no longer returns our calls or text messages.
The second project was the repair of leaking pipes under the kitchen sink. The plumber (Johnny) criticized the craftsmanship of the existing pipework, and said he had to rebuild the whole thing. He did this, for about $550. Alas, the leaks were not fixed. Had he simply run the faucet, dishwasher and garbage disposal--as any responsible plumber would have--he would have discovered two additional leaks. Instead, he assumed that after finding one leak he was done, and obviously he never tested for other potential leaks as the concept of multiple leaks must have been beyond his grasp--DESPITE having been told that the source of the leaks was related to a brutal dishwasher installation that had jarred all the plumbing. I called Dynamic Plumbing to finish the job. They were excellent and I will use DYNAMIC PLUMBING for all my future plumbing needs.
Finally, I did not hire them for the installation of a whole house generator--part of a package of work I was farming out--as their bid came in well above others. I asked them for the model number of the generator and only received it a month after repeatedly requesting it. I then discovered that the unit they wanted to install for $14k retailed at Cosco for under $6k. When asked about why they were charging $8k for an installation (plus margins) they came down to $12k then to $10k. I went with MIKUS ELECTRIC, that installed the same generator and the cold weather package for $8,300.

"I had a slow leak/dripping valve and the main shutoff valve was original and in need of replacement as it was very old and I was afraid of breaking off the handle or it failing when needed. There was also a corroded section of galvanized pipe coming directly out of the old valve so I was worried about it potentially failing at an especially inconvenient time and being unprepared for future emergencies.
Charlie and his assistant showed up as scheduled for their appointment and completed the replacement with an improved configuration. 
Charlie offered some extra observations and pieces of information and advice not all directly related to the job and answered all my questions about the plumbing work.
