"Excellent service from my first call to Hope and then Linda who explained in complete detail what would be required to service my air conditioner and the cost. The servicemen, Branden and Jose, were very professional and went over my HVAC unit completely. The only access to the unit’s condenser coil is from the outside which needed to be cleaned/hosed down. I’m in a 3rd floor condo which requires an extension ladder to reach. Most HVAC service will not go any higher than 25 feet but the Shavitz servicemen had no problem reaching my unit which is approximately 35 feet up. Price for the service was a little higher than I expected but I fully understand after observing the work done. I will highly recommend Shavitz to others in my condo building including our building manager and also anyone who is in need of HVAC service. Great service from my initial call thru service completion."

"After working with the same HVAC company for 10 years, their service deteriorated and I turned to Angie's List for a new company.  I called Home Comfort Systems upon the advice of fellow Angie's List members and the positive reviews and I am glad that I did.  Not only were both Steve and Mike professional and knowledgable of American Standard products,  they were really very nice people!   
They came out to see the problem since their company did not do the install and knew right away what the issue was.  Since I have a limited understanding of how the system works and I'm a bit skeptical in general, Steve did a great job just explaining it in simple language and I didn't feel like he was talking in circles or BS.  They decided that they would order a part and be back to install it.  
The next appointment Mike came and did the installation and after letting the unit run for several hours there was nothing leaking.  Mike also adjusted my blower speed back to the factory recommended setting and now the unit is cooling all 3 floors of my home like it was intended to do.  
I will definitely use this Company for all my checks and service going forward.  Just really nice people to do business with and I'm thankful that I found them through Angie's List.

"They came early in the morning for a new HVAC install. Everything went well. They were neat and clean. The price was well below a comparable system from another company. They provided several options to replace out ageing HVAC system"

"The contractor was very nice and explained everything to me about the functioning of the HVAC unit. Also advised that I change the igniter every 5 years. He showed me that the existing igniter was turning white in color, which is not good and causes most of the HVAC units to stop working. He gave me valuable tips on doing preventive maintenance and what to do if I ever see smoke from the unit. I will certainly call them for future servicing appointments. I feel very satisfied and safe knowing that they will work on my HVAC unit in the future.

"JML did a great job replacing a cracked portion of a condensate line in my attic. The cracked PVC was up in the attic which is in a tight spot. Derek showed up the next day after I called and went up into the attic found the crack and replaced the pipe in a hour. There was only professionalism from him despite having to be in a hot tight attic digging through insulation for a hour replacing this condensate line. I would definitely hire this company again for any HVAC / Water Heater needs."

"Fantastic. From start to finish, Lifeline was amazing. Their office was super friendly and easy to deal with. Scott helped us personally as well, as we had so many issues. Who knew owning a house would cost so much??? We were lucky to have the honesty of Lifeline. Compared to others, they addressed the issues alone and did not try to over-sell us on anything. We were comfortable with Scott and the technician they sent out. Bottom line, we now have the plumbers we can rely on! "I have lived in my home for over 23 years and have used several different Heating and Air companies thru the years... I needed service in Sept 2018 and had various coupon prices of $39 and $49 for an A/C tune up and was about to chose on of them but decided to check Angie's list for a review or google for the coupon companies. That is when I found American Family HVAC and started to read their reviews.. For some reason, I decided to use this company even tho the cost was a bit more money and boy am I ever happy that I went with my hunch. Sometimes it is NOT always about the money. I was really looking for an A/C furnace company that I could count on and use regularly. Not only was the repair gentleman that came out, on time and very thorough and professional but he spent a long time and I feel that I received the most thorough tune up that I have ever had. Josh, the service tech was just a delight and the best part was that this company has a membership contract that I was able to purchase. It is a small monthly charge monthly and . I get 2 free tune-ups a year included in the monthly fee for NO charge and if I need any service work I get 20% off of the charge and same day service...all for only $12.95 a month. What a wonderful idea and I cannot express how happy I am with this choice. It is a win-win deal for me and the company. I am a very happy camper with my choice of this company."
