The owner, Steve, came out and explained everything and more that I should be aware of regarding the replacement of the 26 year old furnace and Air conditioning units. He was a pleasure to work with and the price quote was more than acceptable. I did accept and within the week the crew arrived to do the installation. Al and Damien were very professional and the work was extremely well done. They finished that same day and when they left it was if the new units had always been there. I was extremely impressed and will certainly go back to them for future maintenance. You can't go wrong with this company!

Home Comfort Systems did a fantastic job with the replacement of my furnace (and my A/C five years ago). Steve is a highly reputable person and explains things easily for people not in the Heating & A/C industry. He is very straight-forward with his quote and doesn't try to pressure or scare you into purchasing something you do not need. Their 10-year labor warranty is also very impressive, and they stand behind their work. A couple of weeks prior, they were able to take a look at my old furnace right away despite having tons of calls due to the first cold snap of the year. The furnace install only took about three hours and was smooth as can be. The installer took great care in making sure floors were protected when hauling equipment in and out of the house. He also made sure to repair some ductwork that extended off the furnace. My suggestion is to make sure you call Home Comfort Systems if you need service or replacement of your furnace and/or air conditioning.

Our A/C unit was giving us trouble and was the original unit from when the house was built along with the furnace. I called out 5 different companies to get quotes on replacing both A/C and the Furnace, Steve Bilica from Home Comfort Systems came out looked at what I had then came in and sat down with me and started to tell me about himself and his company which really made it more personal and made me feel more confident that I was hiring the right company for the job. Steve was up front and honest with me answered all my questions and gave me what I considered the best price out of all of the companies that came. Both Mike and Rich came out around 8:30 in the morning and were finished by 2 PM. Both Mike and Rich were very professional and respectful of our home, they laid down drop cloths to cover the stairs and on all carpet area's that they would be working which was very much appreciated. I highly recommend Home Comfort Systems Thanks Steve, I will be recommending him to everyone I know.

Replaced capacitor. Still didn't work, so we were looking at ac replacement. Before we did, technician continued to experiment by cooling of the compressor with the garden hose and it worked! Saved me thousands in replacement costs.

All I can say is wow. I did not realize home comfort systems was who installed our furnace 2.5 years ago. I originally had DuPage Air come out to the house because our house has been freezing. DuPage air put in a new thermostat for us in July, so that’s who I had come to our house yesterday when our house dropped to 59 degrees. They tried to tell me our 2.5 year old furnace was not large enough for our house and that we needed a new one. They suggested a 2-stage variable unit. Luckily, I found Steve’s business card and found out that he is who sold us and installed our American Standard furnace. Steve told me someone was trying to rip us off because our furnace is top of the line and we already have a 2-stage variable unit. This kind man is the owner of Home Comfort, came to our house this morning and realized the wiring for the 2nd stage was undone. He sat at our house to make sure the temperature rose and refused to charge us because he said we’ve suffered enough. He said if we are lucky enough to get our money back from the other company, we are welcome to pay him with that. I cannot believe how honest, caring and kind this man was. You don’t see this too often. The company that installed our thermostat undid the wiring for our 2nd stage and then tried to sell us a new furnace. Thank you SO much, Steve. We highly recommend his company.

I have used Home Comfort on prior occasions to service my old furnace - they had replaced the capacitors and the main blower fan but on the most recent issue, the secondary fan went out. Rather than have it repaired (and seeing the number of repairs increasing each year), I decided it was time to replace the old furnace with a new one. I got a quote from Home Comfort for a new American Standard Gas Furnace with a 95% efficiency - it was scheduled for a Saturday. The serviceman was at my house at the time scheduled and had the entire work completed in about 4-5 hours. He was helped whenever necessary by an additional helper. They took the old furnace out and disposed of it and got rid of the packing material that the new furnace came with. It has been about 2 weeks now since the furnace was replaced and I have had no issues with the new furnace at all - it was done right the first time around. I would have no hesitation recommending this company for repairs and installation of HVAC systems.

They showed up in the specified time frame. The job was performed to expectations. They explained everything, and explained how routine maintenance would work. The price was exactly as estimated.

The owner was great to deal with. He was very responsive to my questions. The installer was prompt, worked quickly and did a great job of keeping things clean.
