Home AC went out when it was 90 degrees outside. BESCO Air came out the next day and Voila! Problem found and fixed. I've used these guys for years for both heating and AC. When other companies don't have the resources to respond promptly, BESCO comes through for me. With them, loyalty still matters.

I called Besco Air due to one of my mom's furnaces going out during the day. I called around 5 PM on a Friday. They were able to rearrange the tech's (Jim) schedule and get him out there by 6:30 PM. He was friendly and professional. He was able to do a quick diagnostic and gave next steps for the fix. Luckily, it was the more simple fix. The furnace capacitor had gone bad. He was able to put a new one in and get the furnace back up and running. He couldn't have been there for more than 45 minutes and was a huge help.

Awesome. While I probably could have scrounged around for a slightly better price, the speed, professionalism and quality of the work more than made up for it - and currently being unemployed, I don't say that lightly! They literally came THE NEXT DAY and did the entire install - remove old unit, rework the ducting, install an air cleaner, dress the wiring - all in one day! The job was done with expert quality - no loose wires or hoses lying around, everything square - and they even came back a few days later to make sure the sump pump and humidifier wire working correctly. finally, they called me a week after that, to make sure I got the Peoples Gas rebate paperwork together! I'd recommend them to anyone!

The Besco team (sales, service, customer service) was a breath of fresh air for us. We purchased an older home and have had a series of mechanical issues (AC / Furnace) and recently had to replace our hot water heaters. The sales team was very helpful in outlining our various options in a low-pressure approach. The install team was exceptional in that they guys were willing to modify their placement of the unit so that we could use the (now) unused space for other (read: storage) purposes. This took add’l time and also required them to do a little additional work to make it work best for us. THEY DID THIS WILLINGLY BECAUSE IT MADE SENSE FOR US!! If you require anything HVAC / mechanical work for your home, please do not hesitate to engage Besco - you will not be sorry!

Everything went great from the estimate with Ed to the installation with Wesley and Matt. They were friendly and knowledgeable. It was not an easy installation. I was very pleased with the result. They had respected my property and even called in a roofer to properly vent the system through the roof. They even installed my smart thermostat. I would use them again. Previously, there was electric heat on the second floor. Other companies balked at giving me a solution for gas but they had no problem running the line upstairs. Goodby high electric bills!

Went very well. Nice guys, professional and respectful. Installed top equipment. Not the cheapest price I got, but seemed the most up front and honest. Great customer service when I had a minor adjustment issue a few weeks later.

We were impressed with Besco from the start. We called them to replace a 20-yr old furnace and A/C. Ed came to look over our situation and found that our A/C coils had frozen, causing water to collect in the bottom of the furnace. Ed asked for towels and mopped up the 1” of water himself. The quote for new Trane equipment was reasonable compared to other quotes for similar equipment and contained 3 options. Ed got the permits for us and installation went very well. Installers efficient and explained what we needed to know. In addition to the furnace, they removed old piping from a water softener long gone. They fixed the ducts and cleaned up nicely. We look forward to having Besco maintain the new equipment.

They were prompt, responsive, and reliable. Their prices were a little higher than other companies but I'm willing to pay more for their reliability and honesty. I've also used them to service my AC and furnace. They're always great! You can save money by paying up front for both your AC and furnace service for the next year. This gives you a 10% discount on any future work and also they say gives you priority in scheduling in the future, however, I have never had an issue scheduling... they always find a way to squeeze me in.

I called Besco, and talked to a wonderful man on the phone from the Besco offices who listened to me about what was happening to my air conditioner. Two other companies came out and neither one could effectively diagnose the problem. Keep in mind I had water dripping all over my carpet continuously. Besco promptly sent out their amazing technician named Elvis. And within seconds of his arrival, he diagnosed the problem like a doctor would on a patient. It was a clogged exterior drain backing up into my air conditioner unit. At last! Problem solved! I was SO relieved to have someone figure this out!! He was so professional, knowledgeable and efficient. And fixed the problem quickly--trust me this was not easy--there was water everywhere. And he was working after hours in over time and still was kind and patient. I appreciate trained professionals like the ones at Besco--they installed a heater for me last year and it was the same amazing service. Congratulations on this company having some the best trained technicians around Chicago and their continually consistent excellent, honest work at very fair prices. These guys were great. They were prompt and courteous and didn't try to up-sell me. They presented all the options to me and the price was straightforward, so that I could compare apples to apples with other estimates. Their prices were fair and competitive; not a bargain, but then HVAC is what it is, EXPENSIVE. They were thorough and cleaned up, and responded when I had an issue. Would definitely recommend

It was good except that they only warranted the new coil for 5 years but they explained why they can't fully warranty it.

It went well even though the units were very old (30+ years) and they re-attached with very little issue.

Besco is one of the best service providers I have worked with. This past summer, I needed a new air conditioner. Then this winter I needed a new furnace. I hadn't worked with Besco before but I knew that they were highly rated here. There were so many positives about the service I received: 1) Easy scheduling, prompt arrival, friendly people 2) Besco's personnel explained very clearly to me my options, pros and cons of various Trane equipment they sell, so that I could make an educated decision. 3) Follow-up - after installation of the air conditioner and furnace, Besco personnel returned (no charge; standard service) both times to make sure the equipment was working right and to make sure I had no questions. 4) Extras - Besco personnel added a wire to my Nest thermostat that they said would ensure that it functioned perfectly with my new furnace. And when I mentioned that the furnace seemed loud, they made some adjustments to my return air grill (and cleaned it!) to reduce the noise. Overall, I couldn't be any happier with Besco. I was really thrilled with the level of service I received. There's nothing enjoyable about having to get a new air conditioner and new furnace, but absolutely trusted Besco's advice and service, and I appreciated how they went above and beyond my expectations, not merely installing the equipment and leaving.

They were very helpful in helping decide what we needed. They were punctual, efficient, and very professional. We had interviewed several other companies prior to deciding on Bestco. Glad we went with Bestco. We plan on hiring them to heat our upstair attic next.
