"Jeremy and his partner were two of the best. I am so pleased with the job they did insulating the wall between guest bdr. and master bdr. Now I feel like I have two separate rooms that are very quiet on both sides. Thank You Again Karen V."

"Hiring and working with Leo at Quadrati was a pleasure. The work quality was superb. A must use contractor for any home renovation project where attention to detail and reasonable pricing for the work and design quality you receive. Our project had many modern elements and Quadrati understood what we wanted and also suggested ways to improve our project which became some of the best features of our renovation. Definitely use Quadrati if you want high quality work and a contractor that understands modern interior design."

"I am very pleased with the work performed by Chad and his crew. Upon the initial visit for the estimate, I knew that I had the right team on the job. Chad had provided a brilliant fix for a concern of mine. The actual installation and repair was superior. Very happy with all of the folks at One Of A Kind Carpenter, Inc."

Subcontractors questions, answered by experts

Dark academia is more of an interior decorating style than it is a type of architecture, but it calls on themes prevalent in gothic architecture. Part of the appeal of dark academia is that you can achieve the look and feel without renovating or remodeling your home. Instead, you can switch to a dark color palette and introduce metal, natural wood furniture, plaid decor, old books, and gothic decor to get the look and feel just right.

While possible for small projects, professional designers ensure compliance with building codes and structural integrity.

While it’s never too early to start planning for a major home improvement project like a home addition, give yourself at least a month or two to plan and design your addition, find a contractor, and get the permits in order. For larger projects like a second-story addition that require designing with an architect, plan on three to four months of preparation.

While concrete walls do not need to "breathe" in the traditional sense of the word, they do require waterproofing and dehumidifying methods, particularly in basements below the water table. Concrete both contains moisture from its initial installation and can absorb water when exposed. Ensuring proper basement ventilation , installing a vapor barrier, and controlling water exposure are all important tasks.

Regular meetings, reviewing drafts, and providing input on materials help align the project with your vision.
