WOOD FLOORS BY SCOTT

Fantastic. Scott is a true craftsman. Every cut and angle is perfection. He is on time and a great communicator. Pricing was competitive. Scott also arranged the removal of tile and old wood flooring. The subcontractor was equally good and did a great job protecting surrounding areas from any damage and dust. Overall a great experience all around.

Scott is the ONLY guy I would go to for having flooring installed. I hired other flooring companies in the past such as Oviedo flooring who did sloppy work or gave us outrageous prices. Not only did he complete what other flooring companies said they can’t do but also had the BEST prices. Very clean and professional work. I wanted open floor without transitions in the bedrooms and he was the only company who was confident in getting it done while 3 other companies recommended it cant be done. Very knowledgeable and would highly recommend. Avoid headaches searching for best installer and go with Scott. He’s GREAT!

The work went very well

This is the second job Scott has done for us. He did such a great job installing bamboo wood flooring in our living room, dining room, family room and kitchen 6 years ago that we decided to call him again to install wood flooring in our master bedroom. He returned my call promptly and said to let him know when the wood was here and he would schedule the install. I called him back after we had the wood and he scheduled a time within the next 2 weeks. He did a wonderful job installing the floor and was even able to tie it into the older wood flooring that we had in the adjacent family room without using. T-molding which really looks so nice. He also cut and installed new baseboard molding as we did not want the shoe (quarter round) molding. His attention to detail is evident in his excellent workmanship. I would highly recommend Scott for a wood flooring project.

He is amazing! Fit me into his schedule within a week. Came in and got right to work. Finished the job in an hour. I was very pleased with his work and will be keeping his number for future jobs! I highly recommend him!!

I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Scott. He is a perfectionist as well as being a complete professional. I came across Scott on Angie's List and was 100% satisfied with his work and his price. He undertook the whole job on his own, employing no subcontractors, and his attention to detail was second to none. He laid over 1500 square feet of hardwood flooring and also made a wonderful job of the staircase. I have no hesitation in recommending Scott and his expertise!

Beautiful job , every detail was perfect,around the fireplace was so much better than anyone could hope for, very professional, he worked all the time when he was here, always cleaned up after himself, worked quietly and efficiently, my husband calls Scott a real Craftsman, a pleasure to have him here doing our floors, sooo happy that we found him.

Scott's workmanship and professionalism is top notch. My contractor was unable to install my wood floor paneling on my stairwell. I found Scott through Angie's List. His price is extremely fair. Even when other people were working on my house, they noticed how well the stairs were done. Scott is a perfectionist. He pointed out that my stairs were not done to code originally. His work is pristine that I asked Scott to return to do more work in my home. There is really no woodwork that Scott cannot tackle. I appreciated his timeliness, cleanliness, and honesty. He is my #1 go to carpenter. Scott is a one-man show. I know that his work is done right the first time that I waited for about a week or so for him to return to do additional work on my home.

I wish that every remodeling project I have done could have been completed as effortlessly as this one. Scott made the whole process so simple. Scott did a great job. He was professional, punctual, and polite. We had him install new bamboo flooring in two different rooms in our home and my husband and I were both very impressed with the quality of his work. So much so, we plan to have him come back out and update all of our baseboards in a few weeks.

Scott was excellent.  He flawlessly integrated the old flooring into the new flooring by carefully cutting out and removing the old strips of Bamboo.  Several other installers said it could not be done - after Scott finished the work it looks as new - he did a perfect job.  Since the damage was done in our retail store, Scott began the work at 5 am Sunday to finish up the cutting before we opened at noon.  He was meticulous, cleaned up as he went along.  Very polite, very fair, and work quality was the best.

Scott did a fantastic job during the renovation of our new home. He was accommodating with our schedule, he was in constant communication regarding the install status, and he gave his unbiased, straightforward opinion whenever we asked. Most importantly, our floors look incredible. Scott is an honest, detail oriented craftsman who was as concerned about the final product as we were. I would highly recommend him to anyone considering a new floor install.

Scott arrived on time and set up all of his tools. I had purchased laminate flooring already, so i showed him where all of the boxes were. After that, he prepped the room and started running up and down the stairs like an olympic athlete to cut the flooring. The job was finished before the end of the day and he cleaned up after himself.
He did great work and was speedy. I would hire him again.

I called for an estimate and we scheduled a time for him to come out for the estimate.  He came out when he said that he would and gave me a quote for the labor in 20 minutes.  After he gave me a quote and I selected the flooring that I wanted, he came back out and removed the carpet and completed the job.  He was a very clean operator and mechanic.  You could see that he did this many, many times.  He is very gruff, not a talker and may strike some as unfriendly however he is very skilled.  The job was completed in five days.

We would use Scott again in the future.
