Jim and Dominique were flawless throughout the kitchen renovation project! They are knowledgeable, reliable and punctual professionals. I can't think of anything negative about them or their work. They took care of every detail of our kitchen renovation and were always honest and responsive about the progress. They have incredible attention to detail and great taste when it comes to their suggestions and overall work. Me and my husband have them as our construction gurus and would trust them with our eyes closed to do any home project and renovation. Our project involved breaking down walls, adding a beam, removing and fixing old electrical and plumbing, new island and cabinets. They were super careful with the rest of the house, finished before deadline and charged us a very fair price for the project and adjustments on the way. We are beyond happy with the results, it's exactly how we dreamt!!!

The quality of their work was outstanding. We are delighted with the finished product. We would highly recommend Jim Knowles and his team.

My husband and I couldn't be more pleased with Kitchen Crafters. We had a complete kitchen remodel done including counters, cabinets, backsplash, flooring, and plumbing. Jim, the owner, was highly involved with every phase of the project and he was always a phone call away when I had questions. His crew were polite, respectful, efficient and extremely meticulous with details. Kitchen Crafters does top quality work and I would recommend them without question. Jim and the crew at Kitchen Crafters were exceptional to work with. Jim really took the time to work with us on coming up with a new layout for our kitchen that was functional, beautiful and within our budget. We really appreciated that he came out to our house to view the space, measure and talk to us about what we wanted to accomplish prior to providing a quote so that we knew it was going to be realistic. When it was time to start the project Jim gave us a timeline and he and his crew really stuck to it (which was great as it was right before the holidays), they were on time, reliable, professional and courteous. Jim stopped by the project almost every day to check in on the progress and work out any details that needed to be addressed. Overall, it was just a really great experience and we really appreciated the effort and care that when into making our kitchen great.

My husband and I contacted Kitchen Crafters after reading the great reviews on Angie's List. We wanted to redo all of the floors throughout the common areas of the house, update the powder bathroom and laundry room, and fully renovate the kitchen. Initially, we thought we would go with Home Depot or Lowe's, but after meeting with Jim for our first consultation, there was no doubt that Kitchen Crafters was the way to go. During our design meetings, Jim listened to our ideas and pictures we brought along that we liked. Jim has so much experience in the industry and came up with so many ideas that my husband and I would have never thought of without his help. It was really fun and easy to design our kitchen with Jim's help. He took us through each step of the design process and made sure that no stone was left unturned. We were also pleasantly surprised when Jim called us to see if we could start on the project much earlier than expected. When it came time to start the job, Jim worked with us to create a schedule that worked for us. We were open to having work done on evenings and weekends, which made the project go by even faster. It is very clear that Jim puts in careful planning and consideration with the scheduling of the jobs to ensure that there are no delays once the job begins. Throughout the entire process, Jim and his crew were professional, friendly, and completed amazing work. The crew was always very punctual and cleaned up after each and every day. Halfway through the project, Hurricane Irma made her way into Florida. The day after the storm (Tuesday), Jim and his crew were back to work and making up for the storm delays. As with any project, new things and changes can come up. Anytime we had an adjustment or change we wanted to make, Jim was always flexible and very accommodating. The only issue that occurred with our project was the incorrect color of the grout on our newly installed tile flooring. Through no fault of Kitchen Crafters, when the grout cured on the floor, the color was drastically different than the sample provided by the grout company. Jim went out of his way to contact the company and lobbied on our behalf to have the problem corrected. Jim partnered with the grout company to fix the problem at no additional cost to us. My husband and I cannot recommend Jim and Kitchen Crafters enough. Throughout the entire project, Jim and his crew were extremely nice and friendly and such a pleasure to work with. We felt like they were part of the family as we were going through the project together. We couldn't believe how quickly the project was finished, even with the hurricane delay. We are so thankful and happy that we found Jim and Kitchen Crafters. We absolutely love our "new home" and give them the highest recommendation! We will absolutely be using Kitchen Crafters in the future for any other remodel/renovation projects.

Kitchen Crafters was a fantastic company to work with! Jim and his entire crew were professional and stuck to the schedule that was given to us when the remodel started. We met with several contractors to draw up a plan and a price and after doing so it was very easy for us to make a decision as Jim's long experience in the business was very apparent! We are so pleased with the results! Would definitely use them again!

The Kitchen Crafters' team was very professional, efficient and helpful. They also kept the house clean as we were still living in it while renovations took place. Jim was easy to work with, very responsive to our questions, and even helped identify a flooring company to replace our tile floors with beautiful hardwood throughout most of the house. The team worked quickly (were done in about 6 weeks) and we were amazed at how fast they had worked. Jim and his team made helpful suggestions to the design of the kitchen when we needed direction. When we discovered a defective under-counter light after the project was finished, Jim came by to replace it very quickly. The kitchen was a key selling point when we recently sold our house. We would definitely recommend working with Kitchen Crafters.

The estimator, Dominick, came out on a Saturday morning. We really appreciated this because of my and my wife's work schedules it's the only day we could both be there. He spent a fair amount of time with us and had some great ideas for our remodel. The problem is, we never received an estimate. I replied back to him on several occasions through text, phone and emails, always with the promise that it would be either the end of the week or the beginning of next week. Well, it's been two months now... I told him we weren't in a huge rush to get this done so if it took a couple weeks to get back to us it was no big deal. I'm no longer in the market for a new kitchen now so it doesn't really even matter. I at least wanted to make sure everyone knew about this. I have no idea about their workmanship or pricing but everyone I received an estimate from was around $25-30k.

Vendor was not interested in doing the job. They said the job was not "big enough" for them to be willing to take on. I was a bit surprised as several of the reviews listed about them was for similar sized jobs and budget about $12,000. They were friendly and professional but we're not interested in my project.

I hired someone else

A+ Absolute perfection. Jim Knowles and his Team are superb craftsmen. All work was done on time, on price and final product is beyond compare. We obtained two other proposals but chose Jim for his unique design recommendations and favorable price. Final design drawings were provided before any decision to proceed (or pay) and result was exactly as planned. We've had other similar work done over the years, but for the price, product and professionalism - Kitchen Crafters outshines the rest. No risk with this company or its leadership. Would gladly use again.

Jim's work is exemplary and what generates that is his passion for perfection and detail. We are extremely proud of our kitchen, and his diligence to schedule compliance, BEST OF THE BEST subcontractors and his commitment to our total satisfaction, we would highly recommend Jim to anyone.

We are so happy with our new kitchen. Jim and his crew were fantastic. They stuck to a 3 week timetable, the job was always clean, they watched every detail and the communication was great. Their design suggestions and tips really added value. This was not a simple tear out and replace, we took out walls and modified the layout. We own rental properties and have experience with contractors, both good and bad. Kitchen Crafters was the best we have worked with and we will use them again. We had been working with another company for almost a year, and were about to pull the trigger, but got cold feet when they didn’t return phone calls and hit us with an enormous upcharge for the granite we wanted. Plus, the original contractor would never give us the design plans (even after we paid a design fee). In a moment of frustration, we decided to get a second opinion and called Kitchen Crafters based on their great AL reviews. Thank goodness we did! They provided us with a set of design plans within 2 weeks, at no cost. Their cost estimate ended up being 30% less than what we had been quoted before, with the exact granite we wanted. The job timetable was HALF the time. Then they DELIVERED. Call Kitchen Crafters, you will be glad you did.

My son had Kitchen Crafters install custom cabinets and granite countertops. Jim was very professional and helpful in providing input on the design of the kitchen. The quality of the cabinets is great. The soft-close cabinet doors and sliders work great and the cabinets look fantastic. He loves his new kitchen. Thank you Jim!

This review is way overdue. From start to finish, our experience with Kitchen Crafters was nothing short of outstanding. Jim and his crew remodeled our kitchen and master bathroom at the same time. Jim helped us with the design of our kitchen and bathroom and was very patient with us. The entire team was very courteous and professional. Jim was always in communication with us and answered all of our questions in a timely manner. We very pleased with our experience and would highly recommend Jim for his remodeling work and we would hire him again. We plan on using Jim to remodel our other bathroom.  Thanks Jim for making our kitchen and bathroom look so beautiful!!

Jim and his crew are nothing but excellent.  This is the second bath that he has remodeled.  We recommend him to anyone wanting top notch work done.  He works with you on the details of what you want.  He brings ideas to you as well as listens to your thoughts to get the best product.  He schedules all of the work and once he begins they keep showing up until it is done.  They do as much as they can to control the dust.  It is inevitable that you will get dust but they tried the best they could to limit it.  We had extensive tile work done in the bathroom and the tile guy (TC) was great to work with.  He looks at every detail and did a phenomenal job.  Anyone wanting to work with professionals should hire Jim Knowles and Kitchen Crafters.  Thanks for the great job.

From start to finish, our experience with Kitchen Crafters was nothing short of outstanding.  We coordinated with part owner Dominic who was available throughout the process; he was always patient, helpful and answered all of our questions thoroughly and in a timely manner.  Dominic met with us and helped us choose all of the fixtures and was always upfront about available upgrades and pricing . Once the project started, the work was done quickly and professionally with care taken every step of the way to minimize disruption to our lives and reduce the spread of dust and debris from demolition.  The project was completed on time and within budget.  It should also be noted several weeks after the project was completed a drain component of one of the new bathroom sinks failed, causing a minor flood in the bathroom.  Thanks to the thoughtfullness of Dominic who had suggested we have quarter turn water shut-off valves installed under each sink, we were able to quickly turn off the water and avoid any significant damage.  At the time of the incident, upon texting Dominic he called us within 10 minutes even though it was about 9:30 PM; he coordinated for a plumber to come out within several days to fix the problem free of charge.  In summary, if you are looking for kitchen and/or bathroom renovation, whether the job is large or small, stop looking and call Kitchen Crafters and arrange to talk with Dominic and get an estimate; YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED! The house we are in now is not our forever home so rest assured we will be using Kitchen Crafters again.
