"Sunshine did an excellent job.   The owner, Paul, gave us a contract form that was very thorough and well written.  It was the best contract form that we received from any of the companies that gave us bids.    We had some specific requests and Paul was very happy to accommodate our requests and to add those items to the contract.  We had a trip planned, and Paul managed to schedule to job to be completed before our trip.  Paul did the power washing.  He was very thorough and careful.  We have a lot of plantings around the house and he was careful to protect them.  The power washing was done in just a few hours.  Then the house was allowed to dry for two days, and it was painted over the space of three days. Paolo and Odi did the painting.  We liked them very much and were very impressed with their work.  They  were very careful in masking before painting.  Paolo did the spray painting, and he is expert at it.  There were no drips and no spatters on the decks.  Odi did the trim painting by hand, and did a beautiful job.  They did a thorough job of clean up.  They were always polite, cooperative, timely and professional.   The only issue we had with Sunshine is that the owner is not always prompt in returning phone calls.  We mentioned that to him, and he was more responsive after that.  We love the way the house looks.  This was the easiest, more problem free house painting we have ever lived through.  It was a pleasure to watch the job go so smoothly.

"I gave a couple calls at the end of September to remind him and he was able to fit us in, I think it was early October. I had high hopes after months of ugly, half scraped paint and their company seemed very professional, knowledgeable, and in demand. However, I think they sent their D team over to my house. They appeared to have a tarp blowing in the wind and some caution tape tied to a tree as their version of lead safe practice. They finished in one day and it was totally slap-shod with no caulking or siding repair, barely any scraping of paint chips that were falling off. We called them back and they re-did it (another half day) and it was only slightly better. To add insult to that they used flat paint when the previous paint had been satin. All the touch-ups they did all around the house look horrible. We will need to repaint the whole house to make it look right. Just yesterday, with the sun shining on the house, I could see white primer showing through where they painted. It all just seemed slap-shod with no sense of pride or integrity - just a quick buck. I feel like we were promised a rose garden and got the thorn instead.

"We requested quotes from four contractors to paint our single-level 1,300 square foot house and 8'x12' shed. Not only was Ric the only one to respond, but he emailed us less than an hour after we requested quotes and came over that same day...and it was on a Sunday. Talk about a great first impression! He sent his quote the very next day, and it was about what we expected to pay. We are very happy with the work that Ric and his crew did. Ric is very personable and professional. He listened to what we had to say, and made some recommendations such as caulking the siding where necessary, which we agreed to have him do. His crew came over a couple of days before they were scheduled to start work to pressure-wash our house and shed. The actual painting took only two days, and there is absolutely no overspray or paint drips on the concrete or on our deck. They cleaned up after themselves and the house looks brand new. We've already referred them to two friends who are thinking about having their houses painted next year."

Their balance of professionalism, courtesy and initiative was ideal. Not pushy, not too soft either. Just right. The subcontracted pressure washing prep team was equally courteous and detail-oriented. If you're staining a cedar deck, preparation is everything, and nothing was missed by the cleaning/prep team. Alex and Max did a beautiful job both painting deck railings and applying stain evenly to our perfectly prepped deck. Our property was protected from stray paint splatter because the taping job was perfect. No mess was left for us to clean up. In short, an A+ job. Highly recommended!"

"Zachary responded to our request for a quote promptly and came out personally to take a look at what needed to be painted. He gave us a reasonable quote with no hidden fees. He and his assistant showed up a few minutes early on the agreed upon date with all needed supplies. They moved and draped furniture along with covering the flooring and carpet to prevent any damage. They were extremely neat and careful with everything. Zachary and his assistant worked together very professionally and did a beautiful job! When they were finished we were asked to come look at their work making sure that we were pleased before they took away all the protective draping and runners.
