"In a word, spectacular. Carlos and his brothers are true professionals. Our home is a 90 plus year old stucco two story house. First they power washed the house and allowed it to dry for 24 hours. On day one the prepped the house, making repairs where needed, caulked the windows, removed two screen doors, all of the window screens and masked areas to allow painting the trim before the main color. Part of the project was to paint a wrought iron balcony with a third color. In addition to the house they also refinished our wood fence. The project took about 6 days to complete, some days they worked well over 12 hours. The attention to detail was very impressive, every inch of the house was examined and spot painted where needed. All items removed before painting began were reinstalled. They even moved the dirt around the foundation back to the way it was before they painted. All surfaces received two coats of premium paint, The stucco was sprayed, back rolled and allowed to dry before the second coat was applied. The result is the surface evenly covered and should last a long time. Carlos and his brother constantly asked if we were pleased and asked where we wanted the three colors applied when there was a decision necessary. The crew cleaned up each evening and did a final thorough clean up the last day, cleaning all drips and left the property in perfect condition. This is not the first house we have had painted, the workmanship and desire to satisfy was more than I expected even after reading all of the glowing reviews Distinctive Enterprises has received on Aggies list and other sites I researched. The price was fair, not inexpensive but well worth the cost. Carlos is very easy to work with, from the estimate to completion he was happy to answer all questions and provide valuable suggestions. The next time we need painting done, inside or outside we now have found a reliable, quality company."

"After pressure washing the entire house, Dan's crew showed up on time and went right to work. They caulked all joints, masked all the windows and doors, then began painting. They were very careful around my large deck and my shrubs and plants. They cleaned up and hauled away all the debris. My house looks amazing! I would highly recommend Muir Painting."

"I contracted with All Surface to clean and stain my two soft wood decks. I have high expectations for All Surface as they always did such a good job on my hardwood deck at my former home. Today, Aberto and his crew of professional cleaners arrived on time. They were very courteous and professional and went the extra mile to make make my dirty/worn decks beautiful again. At my request, they also cleaned my hardwood table and chairs, even though I was their last customer and presumably they'd already had a long day (Note: I arranged with the office to pay an additional very reasonable fee). My front porch is a laid wood deck of very tight old cedar boards and the steps are younger Douglas fir. All of it was stained and a dirty gray. The back deck is an older generic cedar deck with really ugly stockade style pickets which we removed. The deck had been stained a very dark brown (to match house's very dark shingles) and the finish had aged to an unattractive combo of splotchy dark and faded. Frankly, I wasn't sure how well it would clean up. Well, I am so pleased! Alberto and company were pretty successful at banishing most of the splotches and returned the deck to it's original lovely cedar hue. Alberto and team did a fantastic job! Erik the estimator and the office staff were consistently informative, friendly and very helpful. Both decks already look 100% better! The formerly ugly back deck will be a pretty sweet spot now with new rails and the final finish! Can't wait!"

"Paul and Samantha are very professional, polite and punctual.  When they say Paul will be out to your home to meet, that's when he will be there.  They project went well and additional areas of dry rot and deck wear were discovered and agreed upon for repair during the job.  Those additional repairs did not hold the project up.  The project moved along at a good pace and the job was done efficiently.  The painters cleaned up pretty well each day and after the job, they did a great job of cleaning up the site.  There was a little mix up with regard to the base used on our gables.  I called Sunshine and Samantha got right back to me to have Paul come out and take a look.  This was likely not Sunshine's fault (the paint mix up), but potentially was a mix up by the paint supplier.  At any rate, it is not whether a mistake of some sort is made, but rather what one does to correct the mistake, once discovered.  I can attest that Paul and Samantha and Sunshine Painting did correct the problem.  Paul came out personally and repainted our gables and they now look great!  I would heartily recommend Sunshine Painting for your residential or commercial project.  I will definitely use them again, when needed.  Chuck Miller - Homeowner

"It went very well. Hayden was very professional, timely, communicated well, and did an excellent job on our backyard deck. The deck needed cleaning up and staining. Over a couple of days, he power washed the deck well, let it dry thoroughly, sanded it and then stained it a redwood stain color we requested, that he provided. He was very pleasant, thorough and cleaned up the surrounding area after the job. The deck looks beautiful. "The project went very well.  Tyler provided an estimate and recommended rolling and hand painting rather than spraying.  He brought the samples we requested and helped with the choice of color and paint.  He organized the crew for this two and a half day project.  Trevor was the lead worker.  He coordinated very closely with us and made sure everything was done consistent with our expectations.  The crew arrived on time every day and worked hard.  There was no slippage in the schedule from the initially planned start date.  The workmanship was excellent.
We were very happy with the results.  While Shades of Roses has more reviews for exterior painting, we selected them because they painted our daughter's house and for the reason that their estimate was lower than others and we preferred not to have everything sprayed.  At the end of the job everything looked great and there wasn't anything that needed a touch up.  They were very comfortable using no VOC paint as we requested.  We were also very comfortable leaving the crew in our house during periods of time when we could not be at home.  I would highly recommend Shades of Rose to anyone with interior or exterior painting needs.
