"I hired JJM construction to repair my large deck from a recommendation of a friend of mine who had met him at church. Jared provided me with a bid and recommendations on how he would repair my deck and preserve portions of the existing deck. His bid was very reasonable, and he also included a couple other jobs that I needed to have done at the same time. When Jared and Jeremy came out to do the work, they had the deck repair done within three days. They did an outstanding job. I feel as though I have a brand new deck. The workmanship was very meticulous and they were very thoughtful of my property and left it cleaner than what they started with. I would definitely hire Jared and his company again should I have a need for any other work. I will say that I have been screwed over by other general contractors in the past on work on my house, but this time I think I found the diamond of contractors. "Samantha was responsive in providing a painting quote. We got several quotes and it was the most thorough and reasonably priced. Some siding needed to be replaced and her carpenter quickly gave a separate quote for repairing this. We were traveling and they were flexible in working around our schedule. Ben the carpenter did a great job replacing dry rotted siding and a fence. There was one issue and he quickly resolved it. The paint crew led by Esteban did a quality job. They were thorough in the cleaning and other preparation. I noticed a missed spot or two, but they got back to these on their own without a mention from me. My wife appreciated the very limited damage to the border plants despite the challenge of working around them. We would definitely recommend this company for similar painting projects."

In addition to his technical expertise in painting older homes, Paul provided valuable consulting on color placement to highlight the character of our older home with a focus on the overall effect/look while limiting unnecessary detail that could significantly increase the cost of the project. "They did a great job from start to finish. Proper scraping and prepping was done by one crew. When weather permitted another crew came in and taped, and sealed off different parts of the house as they progressed through the painting. We did the same house color and trim but Elia figured better ways to accent parts of the front of our house which looks great. They restored the front door to make it look new. They do not do carpentry so we had another company replace deck boards before PHP started. Overall we are very pleased with the communication through Elia and effort on PHP to get the job done by a certain deadline which helped us. The price was very reasonable, they work very hard and long hours."

Our 70-year old home was looking quite sad with paint peeling on every side, rotten boards, and a general sense of neglect. We were unsure of what could be done to get it back into shape.

Of all the paint contractors we contacted (5 in total), Tyler from Shades of Rose put us most at ease. His bid was very competitive for the amount of work and he was honest, straight-forward, and patient with whatever questions we had. His crew arrived on time every day, were courteous and professional, and cleaned up thoroughly every day. They even removed and reinstalled our crazy storm windows without a complaint - which was a herculean task (Tyler said afterwards that they were the most difficult the team ever had to deal with).

At the end of the last day when we had our final walk around, I was amazed at the transformation of our house. I think Shades of Rose did a tremendous job and I am thankful that we invested in them. Also outstanding was Tyler's reassurance that they would come out to fix up anything that bugged us over the next few weeks. We also have a 3-year warranty and the crew will come out if there are any issues over that time frame.

I would definitely recommend Shades of Rose and I look forward to working with them again in the future.
