Curtis explained everything he was doing, made some recommendations and explained how the gas regulator and thermostat operated and left the area clean from all debris. Because they know Watergate Landmark so well they were able to help work us thru the regulation process and deal with the quirks of the original kitchen. Lighting is owner Adrian's signature. He chose the under cabinet lighting and set up. I trusted him and he did not disappoint. The first time I turned them on I was with a group of friends. We all gasped as if we had just seen a spectacular magic trip. The cabinet vendor and designer treated us poorly from the get go. Adrian did his best to act as our advocate. We appreciate his efforts but we all paid for the cabinet company's mistakes. Did not say goodbye to Adrian. We just said "see you later" He will be coming back to do additional renovation work for us."

"We interviewed several contractors before we decided to work with Cosmo Builders because they were quick to respond to our inquiries and nicely explained the building and permitting process in the first free consultation. At the end of the bid evaluation, I found the Cosmo estimate more reasonable and the full detailed cost estimate clearly stated, from plumbing, electricity, drywall, HVAC, etc., to finish. Also, during construction, the owner, Mr. Alkozay, was extremely helpful in the selection of finishing materials and fixtures based on our budget. They just transformed our unfinished basement into a finished one by adding a kitchen, full bathroom, laundry, office space, a family room, and a gym. The Cosmo management team was excellent and truly helped us manage our vision and budget. On our building journey, they did excellent work. I highly recommend the Falls Church neighborhood."

"DMV was the first of 6 contractors that I had spoken with to completely remodel my kitchen. They were prompt, to the point, and quick to give a design and a quote. I liked their input and ideas, but surfed around for another month, worked with an architect and several other designers, and evetually came back to what DMV had designed from the beginning. (Wish I had skipped the pricey architect!) They gave good advice on things that seemed so simple (cabinet pulls) but were overwhelming when you looked at all of the possible options. The job only took 18 days (though the space was "easy" since my basement is unfinished and they had easy access to move pipes, wiring and ducts. My electric panel also had a lot of space in it and did not require any crazy upgrade.) The only minor delays were my fault as I took some time mulling over a few things. My neighbors commented that the workers were extremely courteous, clean, and quiet and did not disturb them throughout the project. My kitchen renovation did not change the footprint, however, I did move an extrerior door and changed the size and placement of a new window. The project was completed a month ahead of schedule and on budget. Everything was kept clean while in process and I was really not inconvenienced by not haing a workable kitchen very much at all. Javier, Lucas, Alex and John were great at communicating and they were on time or early every day. I highly recommend them."
