In addition, he took care of about 10 other little things that needed fixing. As always, Diaz was the best contractor we’ve ever encountered. He came right out for a free estimate. "Cesar and Luis showed up on time and worked consistently to clear our attic of excess insulation from a previous project and then cut and nail the plywood flooring. Because of wiring, they had to notch the wood to make the flooring fit snugly. They were unable to finish in one day because of the asbestos, but arrived the following morning to finish the job and were done by noon. The cost was high, but it is a professional job."

He came into a job that had been royally screwed up by a prior contractor (see review of Stevenson & Sons). He thoroughly inspected the property, prepared a detailed bid, gave us advice on the most important items and delivered a bid that could work with our budget and the existing lender requirements. His entire crew were professional and consciencious. Devin delivered on time, on budget with high quality work. He kept us informed throughout the process. "While the project took a little longer than we liked, part of that was our fault, as we travel a lot and were not available on a few occasions. We had our kitchen, two bathrooms, and basement remodeled. We also installed a new roof and waterproofed the side of our house due to leaking in our basement. All the work was done professionally and with the utmost quality. I had heard horror stories about contractors from co-workers, but thankfully we had no issues with Chevy Chase.
