"Troy and his team were excellent! We hired them to complete a ~900 sq ft basement finish and we could not be more happy with the results. They were very reasonable in their pricing and completed the job in a very timely manner. We had no surprises in cost along the way and the end result was even better than we pictured. Definitely would recommend them for any projects small or large you need done well."

"I LOVE this family owned business! They are professional, have great rates, are on time and communicate effectively every step of the way. My garage doors were creaking loudly, i could see the springs were stretched, and I was looking for something quieter and more reliable. Stoneberger came out, did the job in about an hour, cleaned up, and I was very happy. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for any garage door work/maintenance.

"Fall Hill Contractor does excellent work. They listen carefully to your comments and will make adjustments if needed. What I like best about Fall Hill Contractors is that they are honest. They do what say they are going to do at the price originally given"

"We would recommend The Tile Artisan (run by Paul Bender) over and over again!  Impeccable integrity seems to be the cornerstone of this business.  The owner came through on everything he said he was going to do, and then some.  His billing practices are fair and honest; workers show up on time and work all day; experience and attention to detail are in evidence at all times.  Our project was completed AHEAD OF TIME!
The name of this business is so appropriate.  Willie was the primary tile expert on our team, and he was truly an artisan.  Every cut is precise and the corners he cut look factory perfect.  The choice of layout for the tiles was excellent and we're just in awe of the finished product.  Hans was also an integral member of the team with excellent skills and a personable style.  We never encountered a team member we didn't like.
Paul recommended additional subcontractors who also performed extremely well, and he had to coordinate with a subcontractor that we had already chosen, which he did with no problems.  Communication is so important to us, and we could reach Paul whenever we needed to.  He was patient with our questions and clear in laying out the plan for progress.
We'd give The Tile Artisan an A+ if we could."

Subcontractors questions, answered by experts

Hiring a contractor with knowledge about historic renovations and reviewing their previous work is important. You can find a historic home renovation contractor by calling your local historic preservation office, historical society, or any local historic museums nearby. The staff may have suggestions for specialized contractors who have worked for them. You can also ask them about historic home restorations that you have seen and liked in your area to get recommendations for pros.

Yes, professionals will offer tailored solutions to fit architectural and personal style preferences.

Mid-century modern architecture was a popular home style throughout the U.S. from the 1950s to 1970s. Most homes feature a wide and symmetrical floor plan with low-sloped roofs and floor-to-ceiling windows. Its minimalism and balanced appearance are back on the home style scene, particularly when maximizing sunlight, airflow, and a blend with the home's natural surroundings.

You'll find Arts and Crafts homes across the country in varying styles. On the East Coast, bungalows and Tudor Revivals fill the Boston area through New Jersey. In the West, Mission-style homes incorporate terracotta shingles, white stucco siding, and rounded archways.

There are several different steps in the pole barn building process. First, you’ll need construction plans, which you’ll use to obtain permits. Then, you can clear the land so it’s suitable for building and installing the foundation. Your contractor will frame the barn using large poles, then rough in the plumbing and electricity (if your barn has those elements) before finishing the interior, adding siding, and installing the roof.

After that, they’ll finish up the electrical work and plumbing and add your windows and doors. You may have a few other finishing jobs to do like painting or waterproofing.
