While we understand that sometimes issues can happen on jobs that are inconvenient, in your case the ball was dropped at several points that caused you more difficultly than we would ever hope to expose a customer to. I do see that we attempted to schedule a service right away, but you wanted to be home so it was done about 6 weeks after the job was completed on July 18. I apologize that a service was required at all, but I do see that we were attempting to accommodate your schedule so you could inspect the work. "I am sorry for your negative experience with PWHI. I do see we had some issues with the size of the windows and a failure of our representative to properly communicate to our installation manager that the windows were going to be enlarged versus simply replaced with the same size as we typically will do on window replacement projects. I cannot verify that you were charged anything extra for doors to be replaced, however. I am happy that you are satisfied with the crew and the work that was done, but I do apologize again for your experience. Problems with the fence started after a couple of months. We had a single gate and a double gate put in and both gates started to warp, the double badly. We called it in and they always sent someone either while we were out or when my wife was home alone. Her being alone was not so much an issue as the way she was treated; the person they sent was rude, overbearing, and told her it was nothing and she should just put some muscle into opening the door. Nothing was done. We called at least two more times, and they came again when we were not home. Nothing was done. The final time we called they came and told us that it could be fixed but we would have to pay a fee. We ended up calling a friend who does home improvement and he came out to give some adive. He took one look and said that the double-gate was not measured out correctly when installed, as the posts were off. He was able to put something on the gate so it could at least close, but he was not able to completely remove the warping.
We have had several marketing calls from this Prince William Home Improvement since then. When we explained to them why their services were not wanted, we were told that they would get someone to look into it, yet once again nothing came of it. Prince William Home Improvement installed some windows and doors for us that were done nicely. But when it comes to fences, I would not recommend them. I will not be using this company again.

- They destroyed my lawn by driving their truck down to pick up dirt when they told me they would use wheelbarrows to remove the dirt. I contacted them for repairs. They showed up, put some dirt down, fertilizer, and grass seed and left. Over a year later, I'm still working on repairing the lawn from their destruction.
- They installed a retaining wall because of the hill slope on the side of the house. They did not seal the crack between the retaining wall and the foundation of the house. So every time it rains, I have the rain water washing in the mud from the hill side. I contacted them and they installed two drains running out to the middle of the backyard. So again, they destroyed some of my lawn to repair a different problem. They did not even attempt to preform any lawn patching or repairs.
- They used polymeric sand between the bricks and the foundation of the house. I have areas that the sand is continually being washed out by the rain. I have contacted them twice about this problem. Each time they come out and repair but that never solves the root problem.
