"We hired Muñoz Construction, LLC (Herndon, VA), to remodel our kitchen, install new flooring in three rooms, repair drywall that had been damaged by a previous owner, remove old wood paneling and replace it with drywall, then paint all ceilings and walls in the remodeled and repaired areas, including the basement. We are very happy with the results. Throughout the process, they were professional, respectful, courteous, and efficient. They listened to our ideas and preferences, plus offered us helpful suggestions and advice. They completed the entire project ahead of schedule and well within the contract agreement cost. The quality of their workmanship is excellent. They used high-quality materials and equipment, and paid attention to every detail. They also cleaned up the work area every day and did not leave a mess behind. The outcome was a total transformation of our kitchen into a light, bright, and airy space. We love the new cabinets, countertops, floors, paint, and fixtures. The new flooring they installed is beautiful; all of the painted walls are fresh, smooth, and bright. It all looks fantastic. Mr. Everett listened closely to what we wanted and delivered in every aspect. He was able to rearrange our kitchen so that the flow is much better and provide us with custom built-in shelves and bench. He not only pointed us in the right direction for the big things like counter-tops, but also for the backsplash, drawer pulls, and lighting fixtures. He came into a job that had been royally screwed up by a prior contractor (see review of Stevenson & Sons). He thoroughly inspected the property, prepared a detailed bid, gave us advice on the most important items and delivered a bid that could work with our budget and the existing lender requirements. His entire crew were professional and consciencious. Devin delivered on time, on budget with high quality work. He kept us informed throughout the process. The portico he built is frequently the subject of compliments by our neighbors (and people just driving by). We will use Devin to continue improving our home. Their employees and subcontractors are very trustworthy and I never hesitated to leave them in the house which saved me from having to take time off of work. Since we had never done any type of extensive renovation it was a new experience for us, but they were very good at outlining the timeline for the jobs and keeping us updated on any changes. The materials that they use are very high quality. At the end of each day we would come home to a clean house - or as clean as possible - as they sweep and clean up every day. I had the pleasure of working with the daughter and she ensured the proper contract was in place and answered any of my questions prior to the project beginning. She managed the process seamlessly and ensured she kept proper documentation throughout the process. Then her father and his team begin the work efficiently following through on all aspects of the contract. They even tweaked a few things along the way as I asked. Customer service was delivered on a high level along with quality work. The price point was also fair with warranty on the work prepared. The job was completed on time and mom came in to do a final cleaning of all of the spaces effected by the renovation. I will certainly be doing business with this company again. It is hard to find honest and reliable contractor so I am happy to have found one."
