Rating 2 star because quality of tiling work is decent. This company is not cheap, but overall work quality is cheap. After completing the bathroom remodel, we found the hand shower was not working. They first blamed Delta, saying it faulty. I called delta customer rep in front of him and delta pointed out the problem with installation. Cutting the new bathroom tile was expensive, so Sosa did something from the back of bathroom by cutting a drywall, and both rain/ hand shower started working. We had the feeling that something is not correct because there was not enough water pressure and water was not warm enough. And here it happened exactly after 2 months, the shower system stopped working. When I called Sosa to check what’s going on and he responded “it was working when I left” . So I had to call another agency, they cut the drywall and showed me the poor quality plumbing done by Sosa. They re-did the plumbing and shower system started working.

With Jose Sosa as our our general contractor we experienced a seamless transformation with excellent craftsmanship. The large walk-in shower with multiple shower heads is perfect for a luxurious bathing experience. The tiling is a work of art! There was clear communication with Jose at all times. He was so attentive and sensitive to our special needs. From design consultation to clear communication with Jose we achieved a finished product that closely matches the initial vision, and a smooth project execution with minimal disruption, leaving us highly satisfied with our primary bath! Jose Sosa is great at tiling. He uses high quality materials and his understanding of plumbing & skill with tiling is outstanding. He worked on my guest bath 8 years ago and I have not had any issues since. I called him back for my master bath remodeling. Highly recommend him for any project involving tiles.

The tile in the bathroom looks great... so far. Jose also replaced a kitchen sink faucet and connections. Because he was also handling the plumbing connections in the bathroom, this seemed like something that should be in his wheelhouse. Well, 3 months later the kitchen sink had a serious leak and I had to have everything don again, and he charged $300 to unhook the faucet and reinstall in and two hoses. I could have done this myself, but was not nearby to do so. I thought he had done a good job, but since such a simple repair was a total failure, now I have to wonder what other surprises might pop up in the quality of his work, which cost about $7k in labor alone. Not feeling confident at this moment.

I scheduled an appointment for an initial consultation with this contractor the week prior to our schedule meeting and he no-showed. Won’t hire someone who can’t even balance there own schedule.

They provided a free estimate which was accurate. They were prompt and professional the day of installation and completed the job as agreed. They definitely took extra care to ensure that everything was aligned and smoothly finished. Thank you!

I would NOT recommend Sosa. They complainded daily of the long commute to DC. They never used a table wet saw. They broke one of my 4 foot pieces of tile and did not offer to replace! Sloppy work and rushed. I highly caution anyone to use these guys. The person cutting the tile (by hand) is under 20 years old.

Jose and his team showed up promptly every (9 am) day and cleaned up after themselves when the day was done (approximately 6 pm). Professional, courteous, and masters of their craft are the only things I can say about this job. The whole job took 2.5 days. I purchased all my materials and only paid Jose for the labor - $2200 (demolition of old tile and backing, tile installation, and associated plumbing with new shower diverter, faucet, shower head, etc.). Purchased my tile and grout separately, $900.00 - which he and his team picked up the first day of the job. Jose included the hardy board backer and the drywall for the ceiling as part of his costs. Things went so well that I when I examined the completed tile work, I immediately hired him to come back and patch / sand all my bathroom walls and paint ($375.00 on top of the tile job) this weekend. I will post pics of that when completed. My wife loves the new bathroom.

Work got done. But communication was poor and the job to k a long time.

Jose and his assistant work very quickly! He was punctual and has a good system in place to methodically go through the renovation. There were some minor equipment bumps ( not his doing, supplier related issues) that cut into the flow of the job, but Jose was very adaptable. He is sometimes not as responsive to messages, but only because he is a busy guy and has to set some priorities...not a bad thing. He is polite and respectful and motivated to do a great job for the homeowner.

We used Sosa Ceramic Tile on two separate occasions. Each time, they did a great job. They showed up on time and finished each project in two days. The tile looks great. We would highly recommend them for any tile project.

Most contractors don't want to be bothered "fixing" Harry Homeowners mistakes, OR finishing what HH started not knowing the quality of work he/she may have done up to that point. Because of my hectic work schedule, Jose Sosa took time away from his family and came out to look the job over on a Sunday for us. He was more than willing to finish the project I'd started, (maybe because he felt like my work up that point was quality? I'd like to think that anyway). He provided us with an estimate within a day of coming out and after a little back and forth, we agreed upon what I think was a very fair price, especially since I needed the job done "yesterday". He and one of his crew were out by the following Thursday and had it completed within 3 days. They installed the homeowners supplied materials. In other words, we'd already purchased all the materials as I was planning on completing the project originally. As time was of the essence in the end, we simply hired Jose to come in and install the waterproof Schluter membrane on the floor and shower walls, tile the floor and shower, (this included two nooks I built into the shower walls. This was a "labor" job only.

All communications with the business owner Jose Sosa were through Angie's List and text message. Communications responsiveness was good. Jose discussed options with me every step of the way. Sosa is a small business, so his approach was not like a large contractor. I was somewhat uncomfortable with his approach early on, but I took a chance and am very happy I engaged Sosa for this work. Shout out to the tile installer Pedro, who did a fantastic job installing the tile. I worked with the designer recommended by Sosa. I was happy with their expertise and they had a very large inventory of tile and vanities from which to choose. I purchased the materials using Sosa's business discount. Sosa picked up the materials when necessary according to his work schedule. The bathroom was a standard single family house bathroom. We will very likely engage Sosa to remodel our master bathroom which is roughly three times the size of our standard bathroom.

Jose did a great job! Cleaned up after themselves everyday. They were punctual and easy to work with.

We were so impressed by the job that Jose and crew did on the master bath shower we had him retile the bathtub in the second bathroom. Both jobs were completed within two days and their attention to detail and craftsmanship is outstanding.

Wonderful experience! I couldn't be happier with my bathroom. We had only planned on having our shower replaced, but since everything else was from the original bathroom, we decided to replace it all. I called Sosa Ceramics and got an immediate response. Within a week, Jose was starting the renovations. I can't say enough good things about Jose and his crew. These guys were professional and polite and hard working and they knew what they were doing. They replaced our shower, moved the plumbing so it was centered in our shower, installed a new toilet, vanity, and cabinets, and repainted. The end result looks incredible! I wouldn't hesitate to use these guys for any project.

Sosa Tile came in and did a great job finishing the tile work on my DIY project. I ran into lots of problems with uneven walls and angles on this project and had to call them in to finish the tiling job and install the appliances. They came right in on the July 4th weekend and finished the job for me. They did excellent work and i would highly recommend them to any one looking to have tiling work done.

Jose and his guys do a great job. Both our bathrooms look so much better than before. Jose is meticulous and conscientious about his work. He was flexible w/us and we were able to incorporated some changes mid way. Overall, we highly recommend Sosa Ceramic and plan to use them again in the near future to replace an old kitchen tile floor.

I cannot say enough good things about Jose. His tile work is amazing. We purchased a condo in Washington DC that needed total refurbishment. (We live in California) Our daughter was to move into condo. I flew to DC to meet with Jose and review our needs. There was one problem after another in ordering appliances, I.e., that arrived damaged or wrong size. Jose was extremely patient (more so than me). We communicated daily phone/e:Mail. When finished the condo was beautiful and I realized how fortunate I was to find a contractor like Jose.
