"After talking to six other companies, I decided to give Elite Arborist a try. Carlos came out to give an estimate on laying new sod and redoing the stonework around a tree in my front yard. He was punctual and listened carefully to what I wanted. He told me all the things his company does and how they could make my vision a reality. We ended up agreeing to the work as well as pruning the large oak tree we have. On the day of the project, the sod was delivered 6:30 a.m. and the crew arrived an hour later. I was impressed how they put out orange cones around the area for neighbors’ visual safety. Carlos introduced me to the crew supervisor, Rocky. Throughout the day, Rocky kept me informed about what they were doing and progress. He patiently answered all my questions and reassured me that I would be pleased with the results. I was very impressed with the attention to detail to the stonework around the tree, the meticulous way they prepped to lay the sod and the expertise of tree pruning. They took great care in making sure they left may yard and surrounding areas, i.e., street very clean. By the end of the day, my front yard was transformed and had great curb appeal. Plus, the Oak tree really stands out. Carlos also sent me information on after care and fertilization of the sod. I’m very happy with the results. I paid a little more than I expected but it was well worth it. When it comes to landscaping professionals, Elite Arborist is the company you need. These guys are fantastic. They have a true passion for what they do and are very professional. I highly recommend this company. Their work is top notch."

"I scheduled the crew from Handyjoe to assemble a 3 seat patio swing. There were a lot of parts for this. The crew arrived on time and went right to work. They had a backpack with all the tools needed for this type of project. They stayed with the job until the swing was completely assembled and located on the patio where we wanted it. The crew was courteous and the price was reasonable for this type of project. I was very pleased with the outcome."

"Overall, we're very happy with the bathroom remodel Alan's team did in our home. It is the ONLY bathroom in our home, so we had to move out while the work was being done. At the beginning of the project, we asked Alan to try to finish in 3 weeks to help accommodate our need to be away. He said he could potentially finish in 14 days. In the end, he was able to finish in exactly 21 days as we'd hoped he would, and we certainly appreciate his attention to completion time on our project. My only feedback would be that there were some things I had to tidy up after the guys left. I pick my battles with contractors (and you probably should, too), and the issues were all minor things I could take care of once the crew was gone. These were things like touch-up painting, one small wall repair, the addition of a little trim on the shelves inside cabinets they built for us to cover gaps near the walls, and the addition of a little caulking to the barn door floor roller assemblies. Perhaps the crew was in a hurry at the end of the job to try to meet my 3 week completion request, but as a perfectionist I can't help but be honest about both the positives and negatives of the job. Alan's an excellent sales person, and I'd just give advice I'd give to anyone hiring a contractor. Contractors need you to be involved in order for you to be satisfied. Alan will tell you he's a terrific contractor, and he is a good contractor. But I still don't think I'd have gotten to satisfied had I not asked questions and remained involved in the job for its entire duration. I'd like to thank Alan for entertaining my questions and providing sound advice. I'm not experienced in home repairs, remodeling, or design, so having a contractor who's willing to help me figure out what I want is important to me. Finally, I'd like to thank the members of Alan's crew. They had full, unfettered access to my home for 3 weeks, and they never messed with any of my stuff and generally respected my home and its contents. They were all really nice guys who showed me respect, graciously accepted my feedback, and entertained my questions."

He invited my wife and I to his fabrication building and showed us the cabinets during assembly. His carpentry process is pure-quality! Every cabinet is handmade, hand sanded, and hand assembled. Delivery and installation was flawless - Don, the owner was on site directing things. Don is moderately priced but worth every penny!"
