"Brian and Tracey Shuey are truly dedicated to their clients. They are SMEs in their field and offer a white glove VIP experience to their clients no matter the value of the home. While I know Tracey has other clients, I never have to be aware of that. She's offered me guidance from birthday parties and other family events. I'm out of state and 2 hours behind which has rendered me unable to handle some of the things that have come up. Tracey has engaged plumbers, electricians, and lawn care services on my behalf. She even personally planted a tree in my yard after a 13th hour (and ridiculous) issue was created by my HOA that threatened my resale certificate. I didn't find the Shueys on my own. I was referred to them by an agent I found online who ended up being too far away. I consider being punted to them as one of those little miracles God blesses you with as a subtle reminder of His love. If you're looking for the best, look no further than Brian and Tracey Shuey."

"I had great service! The agent who did the faucets was very polite, and professional. He did a great job, our faucets are nice and sturdy. On the washing machine issue, the agents that arrived were also polite and professional. The agent said that the machine needed to be replaced. Fortunately, the coverage I had allowed me to be approved to purchase a new one! I guess I made the right (CHOICE HWS)"

Real Estate Agents questions, answered by experts

Typically during transactions or refinancing, or whenever significant improvements are made.

In most cases, selling a home in as-is condition will lead to a sale price that’s somewhere between 10% and 30% lower than normal. However, it’s often worthwhile to sell at a loss because the alternative would be to pay for the repairs yourself, which could end up costing you more. Even if they didn’t, selling as-is saves you from the time and energy you’d spend coordinating the repairs.

They provide objective, third-party valuation, guiding fair sales or purchase prices.

In most cases, no, a seller cannot negotiate after an appraisal if they signed an offer agreement. The only exception would be if there was a contingency in the offer that stated that the offer acceptance was contingent on the appraisal amount. If that’s the case, the seller can negotiate a higher sale price to match the appraised amount. If the appraised amount comes in below the sale price, both sides have to agree to negotiate, but there may be no other option since the buyer’s lender might not approve the higher amount.

It can, especially with the rising popularity of treehouses that go beyond the ones designed for kids. Adults can now use them as office spaces, yoga studios, or quiet treetop retreats. That said, a treehouse can appeal to families with children or adults who might want to convert it into a space of their own. Depending on the buyer, they may be willing to pay extra for the unique feature.
