"Customer provided 5.0 rating when job was completed on 08/31/20. Customer called on 12/23/20 stating there were a few cracks in the stone border that he had marked and was worried about his Magnolia tree. We responded that the office was closed for the holidays but would get him on the schedule after 01/06/21. We did drop the ball and then received this change in his rating. Upon this communication, we called and said a crew would be sent out today. Crew arrived and repaired the 4 small cracks in the mortar of the stone border (from normal settling of concrete/stone) and confirmed the Magnolia tree was healthy. Although crew reported his harassment during their visit and that he would contact the media and tell them what horrible employees they were and didn't know what they were doing and how bad our company was, the crew completely resolved his issues. After completion, we contacted the customer and asked if his issues were resolved. He replied they were now but probably would become a problem in another year because he doesn't think we provided quality work and, because of what he thinks will happen, he will not change his rating. He then asked if we would move the tree and also install weed block that was not originally requested and not on the quote he signed off on before we began the job or during the job but said he would still not change his rating, even if we did this. We declined to do any further business with him."
