The cost was VERY fair and when I googled the average cost, ours was right in the middle. They'll be my first call if any other appliances decide to take a vacation!"

After determining this was no simple home repair job, I looked up plumbers with a good rating on Angie's list and made the call just before 5pm on the 23rd. The owner, Finch, was responsive and tried to make something happen before the suppliers closed for the day, but that was just too much to be done under the circumstances. Communications were great that evening and an appointment was scheduled for the next morning. Alvin was able to pick up a replacement tank and arrived early the day before Christmas to replace the bad tank. The work was done with a great deal of attention to detail and what I watched was a skilled and good quality installation of the new tank. Alvin was very personable, talked me through the important aspects of the work, and he gave an overview of the best care regimen for the new unit. Several hours later, we had hot water, a better and cleaner installation than the old tank, and plenty of time left to be ready for Christmas Eve. The price was a little over $1600 in total, but well worth it in my opinion. I will be calling them back for more work in the spring.
