"I had my crawlspace encapsulated and couldn't be more pleased with the results. The price was right and the service was exceptional. The salesman Mark was very good in explaining what I needed and quoted me a fair price. The crew that came to my home; Tim, Kody, Jordan and Piero were absolutely outstanding. They were hard workers, showed me their progress, explained everything very well and did a great job cleaning up. I would highly recommend FSM."

"A++ Clog-Busters!! We called in the early morning and they were out to our house within a couple of hours. We will definately recommend this company to friends and family! Chris V., the plumber, who was professional and knowledgeable, came to our house and within an hour he had diagnosed, and de-clogged the main drain, and re-set the toilet. He also left our house clean of the debris pulled from the drain. Thank-you!"

"I prepared a list of circuits to operate during power outages. We modified the list slightly and agreed on a transfer switch and inlet box location. The install took about 2 hours for my house. The electrician went through a crawl space and under a deck with 10 gauge wire. We fired up the generator and everything works. Great job. I almost plugged the generator in wrong and got a little extra instruction.

"When they arrived later than scheduled (1.5 hrs late) they did a fine job. Removed existing sink/faucet & installed replacement sink/faucet. They offered to take the old unit to give to Habitat for Humanity for an upcoming project (this sink was still in good shape) which was great. Both of the guys doing the job were very friendly/efficient. However, new faucet does the same thing as the old one - the hose catches on the turn off valves under the sink - I asked about moving the turn off valves to a lower position on the pipes to avoid this - they weren't very enthusiastic about doing this-used duct tape on valves to keep hose from catching"

"I hired Bartlett to install a battery backup for our sump pump. They were easy to work with and the person that installed it did a great job. They arrived a little early for the scheduled appt but they sent a text 15 mins before the technician arrived so we were aware he was on his way. Everything worked out great and will definitely use them again."

Sump Pump Installation questions, answered by experts

Grinder pumps alone cost $300 on average. The average cost to install a new grinder pump is between $2,000 and $4,000, including the pump and labor. This price can also change based on the exact type of grinder pump you choose, labor costs in your area, and the power system your home currently has.

Yes, many modern water pumps are designed with energy efficiency in mind. Look for pumps with high efficiency ratings or those with an Energy Star certification. These pumps consume less power and can reduce your utility bills. Additionally, variable-speed pumps are more efficient since they can adjust the flow based on demand, providing significant savings over time.

The difference between an ejector pump and a sump pump lies in their purpose and design—an ejector pump functions to remove liquid gray water and soft solid sewage waste from your home. If you have a laundry room or bathroom in your basement, an ejector pump for your sewage tank prevents sewage from backing up in your washing machine or bathroom’s drains.

A sump pump is designed to remove excess groundwater that may enter your home, either due to flooding or periods of heavy rain.

Costs range from $300 to $1,200, depending on the pump type, issue, and installation complexity.

A sewage ejector pump is necessary if you have any plumbing fixtures, such as a bathroom, laundry room, or sink, located below the level of your home's main sewer line. Standard plumbing relies on gravity to move wastewater and solid waste to the municipal sewer or septic tank. However, for fixtures located below grade (e.g., in a basement), gravity is not sufficient.

The purpose of a sewage ejector pump is to actively pump this wastewater and solid waste upward into the main sewer line. Without an ejector pump in this situation, wastewater would have no way to exit and would eventually back up, causing a sewage overflow or flooding in your basement. If all of your home's plumbing is on the main floor or higher, gravity can handle the drainage, and an ejector pump is not needed.
