"The overall experience was exceptional. Luis meet with my wife and I and did a walk thru of the property and provided us with an estimate within an hour of the walk-thru. I already had heard excellent things about his company from numerous co-workers who had FDC paint their home. "This is the second time I used Shalom Home Solutions for a painting job, after they did a good job on my rental. This job involves a four bedroom single family house with a finished basement, totaling 5166 sqft. The painting includes all interior surface and baseboards, with minor drywall repair and caulking. Amilcar and his crew did a very good job. They arrived early everyday around 7 a.m. and leave around 4 p.m. The cherry hardwood floors were covered with drop cloth and the railings were covered with plastic sheets. Some elaborate window treatment had to be taken down and put back. The house was cleaned up after the job was done. There was no damage in the process. It was completed on time. Amilcar was very communicative throughout the process, responding to my text message and email quickly. The only minor negative is when he brought in a few newer painters one day and their work was a bit rushed (not taping up the cherry shoe molding). Overall, I'm very happy with the quality of the work."

"In the early spring, I sought to resolve a leakage problem in our basement.  The source of the leak was a crack on the underground part of an outside wall.  After having another company give an estimate for correcting the problem, I contacted Waterproofing, Inc.  Steve Norfolk came out to meet with me.  After examining the area, he recommended a solution and gave an estimate for that solution.  He carefully explained the procedures and was patient to answer all of my questions.  I had confidence in his knowledge and integrity, and I felt very comfortable when interacting with him.  I also felt that the estimate and the warranty were very fair.  These were significant factors that led to my decision.  As a result, I contracted with Waterproofing Inc. to do the work.    The work was completed in one day.  They dug down to the area of the wall that had the crack (approximately 6-7 feet).  They applied  a sealant, two coats of  damp proof tar, and a plastic sheeting.  Finally, they covered everything with a piece of material the size of a sheet of drywall.  After packing the dirt back into the hole, they cleaned the entire work area.  On the inside wall, they applied hydraulic cement (as a secondary line of defense, since the work on the outside wall is expected to resolve the problem).  In the weeks since the work was completed, we have had several hard rains, and the treated area has remained dry.   I was very impressed with how Waterproofing, Inc. was careful not to damage anything in my yard and especially how they cleaned up everywhere when they finished.  Many companies, while completing a task, seem to damage something not really connected with the task. Throughout the work, Waterproofing Inc. showed respect for the entire property.   The communications with Steve Norfolk and his wife (in the office) were excellent throughout the process.  They were very prompt and responsive.  In addition they followed up with me to make sure that I was satisfied.  I would not hesitate to contract with them again, or to recommend their services."

"It went well. Mario came out promptly to access the damage to my basement and gave me an estimate that was within my budget. The work was scheduled and completed within a week. The guys Antonio and Daniel repaired drywall, baseboards, shoe molding and replaced the vinyl flooring in the bathroom. They also painted two large walls. The guys did an excellent job matching the stain on the shoe molding. And I just love the bathroom floor...what a great job. The job was scheduled to be finished in one day but they had a problem finding the shoe molding that matched. They were back the day and all is well. What a great job guys. I will definitely use their services again."

"The overall price came out to be a bit higher than expected, but the crew got the work done in a timely manner. The drywall and paint work was of reasonable quality - some of the drywall was not as smooth as I would like and there are areas where the paint line at the ceiling is not straight (there is blue paint from the walls on the white ceiling), but the overall finished product looks fine."

"Jorge Lazo and his crew came in and painted 5 bedrooms, our master bathroom plus a large closet, ALL IN ONE DAY. They were punctual, in fact they were a little early, which is always very nice.  They were professional and very tidy. Jorge and his team did a great job in our home and I will definitely use them again when we paint the outside of our house. If you are looking for a painter who is reasonably priced, professional, punctual and very good at what he does, then I highly recommend Jorge Lazo.

They worked quickly and efficiently, they were courteous and professional, and they even went above and beyond by spot-paining areas I'd missed in another room when I painted myself!
