"The overall experience was exceptional. Luis meet with my wife and I and did a walk thru of the property and provided us with an estimate within an hour of the walk-thru. I already had heard excellent things about his company from numerous co-workers who had FDC paint their home. "This is the third time I hired Shalom Home Solution for a painting job----I just used their service a few days a go to pain the house I was moving into. I hired them to paint the house I was putting on the market for sale. This is a singe family house with about 2750 sqft of living space. The painting includes all interior drywall surface, window and door frames and baseboards. Again, the crew did a very good job in painting the interior and making minor drywall repairs along the way. Window treatment were taken down and put back without problem. The house was cleaned up afterwards. When I pointed out a few areas where the painters missed, Amilcar personally finished them himself. The job was completed on time."

"They started at the scheduled time and proceeded to completion in an efficient and professional manner. Answers and telephone numbers were left for me to call if/should I want to change the configuration of anything done to the walls. More cabinets, hooks, etc. I found them to be an excellent provider. "It went well. Mario came out promptly to access the damage to my basement and gave me an estimate that was within my budget. The work was scheduled and completed within a week. The guys Antonio and Daniel repaired drywall, baseboards, shoe molding and replaced the vinyl flooring in the bathroom. They also painted two large walls. The guys did an excellent job matching the stain on the shoe molding. And I just love the bathroom floor...what a great job. The job was scheduled to be finished in one day but they had a problem finding the shoe molding that matched. They were back the day and all is well. What a great job guys. I will definitely use their services again."

"The overall price came out to be a bit higher than expected, but the crew got the work done in a timely manner. The drywall and paint work was of reasonable quality - some of the drywall was not as smooth as I would like and there are areas where the paint line at the ceiling is not straight (there is blue paint from the walls on the white ceiling), but the overall finished product looks fine."

Due to a minor water leak a section of drywall about 8' x 2' had been cut out. The trim in this area and on the other side of the hall plus a closet had to be placed as well. The drywall and trim had been removed due to a small amount of mold from the water leak.  I called George's painting due to all the great reviews here on Angie's list.  I received an estimate on this work and in addition I asked for an estimate on some painting.  I thought the estimate was very fair. George was extremely professional and even came to look at what the job entailed late on a Friday evening as he was returning from other jobs on his way back to his office. This was absolutely fine with me as I had no plans to go anywhere.  George sent my estimate first thing Monday morning.

In the end I used George's only for the drywall and trim work. The job was easily scheduled and the 2 man crew did an outstanding job. I couldn't even tell there had been any damage. The trim work was outstanding as well with nice miter cuts. It lined up well with the existing molding where the miter cuts met.  It only took them approximately 4 hours to do the job.  I plan to call George's in the future for outside painting of my house.
