The most important thing about a remodel project is the end result, and we are very pleased with our results. The contractor who did our kitchen, deck, and sunroom was overbooked, so after reading all the glowing reviews for VKB, we decided to check them out. Paul came to the house to review our plans. He was confident he could do the job in five weeks.  I did not think that was realistic for any contractor because of the complexity of our design, but we were more concerned with the job being done right than fast. It ended up taking more like 12 weeks, but the job was large and complex. The master bathroom required moving and adding a significant amount of plumbing and electrical work to implement our spa design. There were also a few snow days that prevented the crew from getting to the job. I must complement the craftsmanship of Paul's crew. Their measurements and installations are exacting and really look well done. My wife and I love the new look every time we walk into the rooms. The master suite is majestic.
As with all remodeling jobs, there were a few hiccups and a few changes along the way. Paul worked with us to make the changes, and he was fair in his upgrade policy overall. One of the important factors for us was trying to keep the house clean during the remodel, which is almost impossible. But the crew did their best to keep the dirt and dust under control by laying drop clothes from the front door all the way up the stairs, through the hallway, into the bedroom and into the master ensuite. They also did a good job cleaning up behind themselves.

We really love all the bathrooms, but especially the master bath.  It looks like a resort bath suite.
