"We chose VKB for our kitchen remodel after estimates with four other remodeling companies.  VKB gave us "the most bang, for our buck", beyond any other company we looked into.  The scope of work was a full kitchen remodel with new cabinets, lighting, plumbing, electrical, refinishing the hardwood floors not only in the kitchen, but throughout the entire first floor plus stairs and relocating the washer and dryer from the basement to the kitchen.  Sean Harris was our design consultant and from the beginning was very professional and responsive to all of our questions and concerns.  He made the planning phase easy and as stress-free as was possible.  While meeting with Sean, Paul, the company's owner, met with us as well several times to iron out trouble spots and to assure us of his confidence in the planning and outcome of the project.  When it came time for the actual work, Alfonso, VKB's contractor, couldn't have been more impressive.  He worked hard and completed each phase of construction timely and with efficiency.  He never left the job site a mess (as much as can be expected during construction) and was on time each day.  He reviewed his progress with us daily, asked how we wanted certain items to be completed and gave helpful insight and suggestions to details we hadn't thought about.  We feel Alfonso is the key to the success of the project, as he turned out to be the antithesis to all the contractor nightmares we were warned about before we started.  We couldn't be more pleased with working with VKB and how our kitchen turned out.  We highly recommend VKB!"
