In 2020, I decided to address another need - my aging second floor porch, which serves as a roof to the first floor porch below. It was becoming increasingly unsafe due to wood rot, with a soft floor and loose railings. Given my positive customer experience in 2014, calling Newton Roofing in 2020 was an easy decision - I did not get quotes from any other company. Rich came out and provided a detailed explanation of the materials and labor needed to replace the porch and to install new railings that best match the style of my home, and he followed up with a very competitive quote for the project. Gus and Julio were the on-site team who completed the project and their work was exceptional. Both men were incredibly skilled and meticulous, and thoroughly impressed me with their attention to detail at every point in the project. They worked on my home as if it were their own, which I greatly appreciated. I was so pleased with their knowledgeable and experienced craftsmanship. "I had leaky roof. Of 3 contractors who came to take a look, only Ramon from NMTI pointed out an uneven surface that seemed to be good place to look for an issue. I appreciate hearing specific ideas when there’s a problem, so we chose to work with NMTI. Sure enough, underneath the shingles on that section of roof, there was some water damaged and warped plywood. The NMTI team addressed that and re-flashed some skylights at the same time. The team was all very pleasant. They scheduled the job quickly, once we agreed on details and I would work with them again. Thanks, guys!"

"I first called another roofer who never came inside to look at the stains or went up on the roof. That roofer said by visual inspection he could tell I did not need a new roof and his company only dealt with replacements. But, he hazarded a guess at what was wrong and said if anyone actually went up on the roof, it would cost around $800. I then called Farina who scheduled an estimate; they arrived on schedule. The gentleman came inside and took pictures of the stains. I received an estimate about a week later and was asked to agree to it or not by email. I agreed and about another week passed and they showed up at my house to do the work, again going inside first to look at where the stains were. The actual work took less than an hour-so far, so good. Assuming that the leak is fixed, the only thing that could have been better was if I was told beforehand when they would do the work, instead of their just showing up. Luckily, I was home."

"Reading the other reviews I'm a bit horrified and thinking about going up and checking by myself, though the roof is pretty steep so I rather live... but we had overall great experience. Quick appointment, believable explanations and the price seemed to be right (we didn't bring anyone else to quote, so cannot state if for 100%). The roof itself seemed to be reasonable, but then we added the chimney cap and that was quoted at $1500 and then lowered to $1200. Is that the right price - I do not know, but since they were already on the roof I assumed asking them is easier than looking for new contractor. The dumpster was left couple of days over - which made our life a bit difficult since it was taking our drive-way, but it was promptly removed upon request. Honestly - I'm very happy with the job and I think I will call them again if I had another roof. One more thing - read very carefully the financing agreement if you financing. I read it and we decided to opt out of it and just pay by credit card. Pretty scary."

The job turned out more difficult than we thought it would be but Long Roofing made me feel comfortable and reassured that they would fix everything. Everyone involved from the salesperson to customer service listened to our needs and treated me with respect. The roof looks amazing. I don't want to get into price, but even though you may get someone less expensive, using Log Roofing was well worth a little extra cost"

"We got 3 roofing estimates. We made an appointment with the owner David Crasny. He showed up on time. He was the only one of the 3 roofers who got up on the roof (3 stories) to take pictures and evaluate. We received his estimate in 2 days as promised. It was detailed and thorough and gave us the option for a few extras (over fascia sealing & back porch). His price seems very fair. All roofers use GAF or equivalent shingles. He is trained and certified in GAF products. We were told by 2 roofers (we didn't ask him specifically) that we could have some shingle repairs done and can delay a new roof for 2 years. Based on his promptness and professionalism in person and in his estimate we will probably choose him when we do our new roof. We got a very low and very high estimate from other roofers. His was in the middle."

"Perfect experience. Claimed an Angie's List deal for gutter cleaning. Joe called within the hour and got me on their schedule on the same day. Guys arrived promptly and thoroughly cleaned all of our gutters. There is a steep hill on one side of our house which has prevented other gutter cleaning companies from getting to the gutter over that area, but Joe's crew got up on the roof and cleaned that area, too. They cleaned up well afterwards, as well. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Will definitely have them back in the fall."
