MGS just replaced my roof shingles, and I must say I am greatly impressed. They did it when they said they would, took as long as they said they would (one day), and cost exactly what we had agreed upon in the contract. They were efficient and skilled. Very hard workers! No glitches at all, and that in itself is unusual in the contracting world. I highly, highly recommend them!

Mike from MGS responded immediately to my request from Angi for a roofing contractor. He came for an estimate the following day. He gave us a price that was half of another competitor - plus replacing a large skylight. The price included the permit and dumpster. He explained everything thoroughly and answered all our questions - and we didn't have to sit through a two-hour sales pitch. All materials were top quality and installed above standard practice. This was in December and we were concerned about the weather and short daylight. Mike assured us they should have the job done in a day, barring some unexpected repairs to the roof. Their crew came a week later. Crew leader Rick was fantastic.They stripped two layers of ashphalt shingles off the house, breezeway and garage, replaced the skylight, and were done in about seven hours. This included replacing the lead flashing around the chimney and building a cricket above it to divert the water..Amazing! They spent about another hour thouroughly cleaning up all the debris around the property, including scouring for nails with a large rolling magnet. The dumpster was picked up two days later. Except for the great looking new roof, the property looks like like they were never here. We had three days of rain starting a few hours after they left, and the house is completely dry. This was one of the most pleasant experiences I've had dealing with a contractor. From start to finish, everyone has been friendly, respectful and professional. Mike was in constant contact with us throughout the process and responded immediately if I had.question. I highly recommend MGS for any roofing job.

We were very pleased with the entire process. The explanation and estimation of the project were fair and on time. The start of the project was excellent within two weeks of meeting to completion. Very professional, fulfilled all expectations, courteous, informative of product and install, excellent clean-up. Within 24 hours of starting work, all signs of their being there were gone. I Would recommend MGS and use them again.

We worked with Mike to get our shingles replaced and sky lights replaced. He helped us plan and made sure that the new roof would be solar install proof. From sales talk, planning, quotes, install and cleanup, all these process were professionally handled and the installers were courteous and meticulous in cleanup as well. Recently a new roof was installed on my home by MGS Construction LLC Roofing & Siding Specialists. The Sales Rep came to my home during the day to explain exactly what would be done. There were some things I had not thought of like rain deflectors and their method of sealing the chimney. They even removed and reinstalled the Roof De-Icing cable. An installation crew of GAF Certified Installers arrived on time, were courteous and completed the job in one day, including cleanup and disposal of the old shingles. The Sales Rep contacted me twice during day just to see if I was satisfied with the work being done. MGS Construction LLC Roofing & Siding Specialists had the best price and the most complete installation. It even came with a 30 year warranty. I am very satisfied with the work that was done.

MGS was wonderful to work with! Michael was very professional, personable and responsive. The roof went on in one day, they remained within their estimate and it looks beautiful.

Why we recommend MGS construction LLC....... Needed new shingles and new skylight replaced and we contacted 4 companies. Here are the results...... 2 co. and one wouldn't return our calls and the other left a proposal and samples at our front door.......bothNOT GOOD business 3rd co. came and spent a total of 15 min and was in a hurry to leave, left a proposal but had no samples to show......NOT GOOD 4th co.....MGS Const. of Salem NH......we contacted them and within 2 hrs, Michael Manick, reg. sales mgr. called and a time and date was set to see what they had to offer......Mike was great, he had all the samples to show us . We had 2 sheets of questions and we did not need to ask them because Mike ansered them when presenting his proposal......This was VERY GOOD...A contract was signed a few days later that set everything into motion to begin....... A date and time was set after all the necessary supplies were in and also the new VELUS solar remote skylight was in..... The workers and forman, Danny,arrived promptly at 7AM the day of the job but was posponed 1 hr. because of weather conditions..... OK was given to the workers and they promptly began their magic transformation.....and worked as a "TEAM"....Mike dropped by to see if all was going well and if we had any concernes about anything.... By noon, lunch time, all was cleared off the roof and we decided to buy pizza for the help and they were "tickled pink" and thankful...... Work resumed after lunch "bingo", by end of day, all was completed.All equipment neatly put away and on roof of van.......AND,..... MGS has this device that is a magnet and a worker rolled it all over the property to pick all the loose nails and that was really "cool" to see them do this...... We live in a condo. community and several board members commented "What a professional and neat job was done"....... We strongle recommend MGS of Salem NH and hope you do as well...... On time, professional complete 3,600 square foot house with the different roofs and replaced 8 sky light in 1 day. Arrived at 6:55am and left at 5;20 pm after a cleaning up left nothing behind! Iâ ve had work done on the house before but not this fast and the work was excellent. The work was so good my neighbor up the street had his roof reshingled. Sign of excellent work.

My mother used this company to fix her roof. She has written her review for me to post. I also loved working with Mike as he was very helpful with everything and very understanding of the difficult circumstances. My husband was a veteran and he died last year of Covid. So, I'm a widow and disabled. My husband did all the repairs around the house, so when my home owners insurance called and said I needed a new roof or they would no longer cover me. I went looking for a roofing company . I had several quotes done before going with MGS Construction LLC. The price from Mr. Mike Manick from MGS Construction LLC was an affordable price for my small home. I got to tell you , Mr. Manick was very patient in answering all my questions, very polite and most of all not pushy. Not making you feel like you had to make this decision right now or the price would go up, maybe even double like some of the other companies I talked to. Plus, the roof is guaranteed for several years and if I decide to move, it transfers over to the new owners. CAN'T BEAT THAT. Mr. Manick scheduled my roofing project within a week and done within a day. The job wasn't rushed , the workers were respectful to my pets, family and property. Cleaned up afterwards. And what a beautiful job they did on my home. I am very happy .

It was great working with Al from MGS on a project for my multi-family. The bad wind/rain storm caused some water to run into a tenant's apartment, and upon inspection it was determined that the rolled roofing on multiple sections of the house had been installed improperly (weren't flashed correctly and had been simply put over older roofing). Al and his team stripped all of the old roofing off, replaced the plywood, and did a great job flashing everything properly and even fixed the way the gutters were hung. It may have cost a bit more than expected, but the scope of work was greater than I had anticipated, so the additional costs were warranted. The day that the dumpster company removed the dumpster, one of my porches was hit and damaged slightly. I brought this up with Al and he had his team come out to get it fixed free of charge, even though upon further inspection it appears it was my plow guy that hit the porch and not the dumpster company. Nonetheless Al and his team got it fixed. I couldn't be happier with the results, and I would recommend Al and MGS for any of your roofing needs.

We recently had an incident requiring extensive roof repair due to a large tree falling on our house. We called several roofing companies and contractors and MGS was the only company to return our call. Mike came out on the same day we spoke to him and gave us an estimate and a time frame for the work to be done. We called him back the next day and hired MGS to do the job. Not only did they come out much sooner than anticipated but the work was done quickly and efficiently. Everything was done and cleaned up by early afternoon and looks fantastic! We are very pleased and highly recommend MGS Construction for any project, large or small that you may need to have done.

MGS was a great company to do business with. We found them through Angie's list reading nothing but good reviews! Mike called us promptly to set up an appointment to answer additional questions and give an estimate. Our initial phone conversation made us very comfortable with considering MGS, but after meeting Mike and hearing all they do....we were confident in our choice. MGS uses GAF shingles and underlayment which come with a warranty. I believe the company is approximately 25 years old and most of the crew have been together for a long time. On a cold October our old roof was being prepared to be torn off at 7:30 am. By 5:30 pm we had a new with roof newly clad soffits and a very clean yard! Throughout the day the owner of MGS came to check on the job and say hello as well as Mike. At the end of the day the foreman of the job walked my husband around the house to show him everything that was done while he was at work. My husband and I are very pleased. Bonnie Norton

Michael Mannick was the sales rep I spoke with and he went over the materials list and process in detail. The installation was ordered on Friday and scheduled for the following Wednesday. Materials were dropped off on Tuesday and the crew showed up around 7AM as expected Wednesday morning. The crew prepared the area with tarps to protect the vegetation in front of the house and the deck in the rear. The entire job was complete including the cleanup by around 3:30PM and the lawn looks better than it did before they started. The only thing left to do is picking up the dumpster in the driveway tomorrow morning. I now have a beautiful new roof that looks great for a fair price and the process was flawless. I can't recommend MGS highly enough. I'd give them 10 stars if I could.

Recently had our roof replaced by MGS Construction and could not have been happier. Salesman Mike M explained all that would be done and what materials would be used, and we felt very confident in hiring this company. Project Manager Josh and his four-person crew were prompt, careful of our property and were very hard workers. Josh had us do a project inspection when they were done to be sure everything was to our satisfaction. Mike called the following day to make sure we were happy with every phase of project and to assure us that MGS would stand by their work for years to come. I highly recommend this company to anyone thinking of getting a new roof.

MGS Construction was recommended to us by my wifeâ s coworker, to replace our roof in Merrimack NH. Michael at MGS responded very promptly to our request for a quote, and scheduled time to come out and see the project. In total we received three quotes. One was nearly identical to the quote from MGS but cost 90% more. The other quote was very close, but after diving into the details I noticed that MGS was using more materials and more expensive materials under the shingles. Michael also pointed out several spots on the roof that had the potential to need additional repairs. He provided rough estimates of the cost to fix those potential issues if they were found, after the old roof was removed. Taking into consideration that Michaels quote was price competitive, included better materials upfront, and he had given us the heads up on possible issues and their outcome. We felt that MGS right company to use for this project. On the day of installation, the crew showed up on time and got to work. The manager was professional and spoke with us about safely moving around the property while the crew was working. I appreciated this touch considering I had to get my kids out to school. The crew was friendly and even spotted an installation issue with my gutter covers, which the manager was able to instruct them on how to correct. They completed the project on time and only found one issue that roof deck that needed fixed. They did an excellent job cleaning up, and I found ZERO nails on the property in the months since the install. I can confidently recommend Michael and MGS Construction for a roof replacement.

I had an excellent experience working with Al, Manny, and the rest of the MGS team on the installation of a new roof, skylight, and gutters, and wood rot repair. Al is highly communicative, punctual, hardworking, and professional. He provided a timely and competitive quote, promptly scheduled the job, showed up bright and early on the day of installation, and along with his team, delivered high quality workmanship. MGS is truly a rarity among contractors. I would not hesitate to recommend Al and MGS!

Al and his team were great from beginning to end. I received quotes from 3 other companies and MGS was the most straightforward & very easy to work with. My initial meeting was about 15-20 minutes and there was no BS, just review of the product and a cost. I also added in gutters and solar fan, which were also very reasonably priced. Al stayed in contact with me while I worked to have my solar panels removed. The day that was done, MGS was there the next day. The team was very efficient, removed old roof and installed new same day. The took care of my property, didn't leave one single piece of trash on the ground, not even a nail. It was like they were never here. Very grateful for the team that handle this large job. I will recommend them to anyone who needs work done their home.
