"We had more than 80% of the old house remodeled with new additions. It’s a daunting task and huge project. However, Dimitritis and Joshua made it easy and did a great job in completing our dream home. Joshua was fantastic managing the daily tasks and excellent with details. They were very responsive in re-addressing even with minor adjustments. Definitely recommend."

"I had my preventative maintenance appointment with Jim Ballard and he was great! I had a few questions about several services that PS offers and Jim thoroughly went over everything with me. I will definitely be booking an appointment again for poly leveling when the weather allows and have full trust that everyone I deal with will be just as great as Jim was!"

"Stoyan was extremely professional and honest. He called before arriving, arrived on time and looked around. He had me describe what I had observed, inspected my ejection well and my walls and foundation. He did state that he could not see everything because the basement was finished but from what he could see, it was not an interior unit problem, but rather an exterior (HOA) issue. I asked him if he could chat with a friend on the phone who was trying to help me. Stoyan patiently discussed the entire situation with my friend and discussed options etc. There was absolutely NO ATTEMPT to oversell me or sell me something that I did not need. I asked him if he would mind looking at my neighbor's basement while he was there. He said he would. We went over and Stoyan examined my neighbors's basement. He basically said the same thing, that as far as this general seepage goes, it was an outside drainage issue. He patiently explained to both of us, how this should all work for our four unit building. I cannot say enough positive things. I highly recommend this company."

"Eddie and his crew did a fantastic job rebuilding the wing walls and pouring new concrete steps at our house. From bidding to contract to work and cleanup, E&B were easy to work with and provided excellent results. Would definitely hire again."

"Crew arrived on time and worked efficiently. As the project progressed, 2 foundation cracks were discovered which added $900 to the original estimate. Old insulation along foundation wall was removed and replaced with silvery foam sheets. Joints were taped. Some leveling of the floor was done. Sheets were laid over the gravel floor also (crawlspace is not used for storage). 2 window well covers were installed. Our main goal was to have a warmer floor in the room above. We haven't noticed a major improvement yet."

"The Real Seal repaired a crack in the foundation of our new house, and the experience was ideal. The technician who came out for the estimate (forget his name, unfortunately) diagnosed our seepage problem quickly—he seemed to know exactly where to look and found the crack immediately. The actual repair was performed with efficiency and professionalism. In fact, everyone we interacted with was friendly and a total pro. You can tell when a business cares about performing quality work, and The Real Seal certainly met that standard for us."

"This job went great from the start. From the moment the estimator came to our house for the first time, I felt comfortable that this was the company to use for our job. I had received 3 other quotes, but I could tell there was a level of professionalism and knowledge the others didn’t have. The price was competitive and the plan of work addressed everything we needed. The work crew was professional, timely and responsive, courteous and respectful of our home, clean, and highly customer focused. I would not hesitate to recommend Atlas to anyone. Thanks for a job well-done!"

Customers say: Super punctual

"The construction went very well. It actually was completed before the estimate - it helped that I wasn't living here at the time. The workmanship is stellar and I am very pleased with the final product. They were responsive to my requests for little things to be changed - like the lights were installed upside down from what I wanted or the toilet paper holder needed to be moved. Angelo was friendly and I felt that he was taking care of my house & me like a father. Rose in the office answered every email and question in a timely manner. She's also followed up when I had an issue with my new dishwasher."

"Great communication from getting the estimate all the way through the completion of the work. For every appointment, I would get a phone call in advance with a very reasonable time window. They did a very good job lifting one side of the garage floor without any cracks in the slab. Cleaned up everything at the end and the price was very good."

House Leveling questions, answered by experts

Polyjacking can be a permanent solution to sunken concrete if you also address the underlying issue—like poor drainage—at the same time. The polyurethane material itself can last as long as or even outlast the concrete you’re lifting it with. Your sunken concrete issue will likely return if you don’t couple polyjacking with proper drainage to prevent future soil movement and sinking.

Costs range from $500 to $1,500, depending on the size and condition of the area.

Generally speaking, push piers—or steel piers—are the best option for underpinning, as they reach down to solid bedrock to find support for your foundation rather than relying on soil, which could be subject to the same issues as the soil directly below your foundation. However, the best underpinning method for your home depends on your location, how far down the bedrock is, and the type of soil in your area. Helical piers are usually the best option for sandy soil or in areas where the bedrock is too deep to use steel piers.

Mudjacking is usually reserved for light-duty slabs, like patios, driveways, and sidewalks. However, it can be an effective way to lift garage slabs and concrete around the perimeter of the home, which could harm your foundation if it’s not done properly. The risk of damage is why having a professional mudjacking company carry out the work is important. This type of slab or foundation repair is relatively inexpensive, especially if you consider that a DIY job requires that you pay to rent the necessary equipment.

Yes, you can mudjack cracked concrete, but the cracks will need to be repaired once the concrete has been leveled. If the concrete is severely cracked in multiple places, replacement may be a better option, but for less severe cracking, mudjacking is a good solution as long as cracks are correctly caulked and sealed.
