I hired ULB-Dry Waterproofing out of Villa Park to repair some cracks in my house’s foundation. Boy, am I glad I did! The three men, Margarito, Deivy and John, worked so hard and did a great job. They found more cracks, fixed those as well as installing a window well drain. My basement is as dry as a bone!! Great company to work with and great prices too!

This project was completed Summer of 2020 after the worst flooding our basement had ever seen. Thankfully, we haven't had the chance to test the new pit and drain tile until today, so I wanted to finally leave a review! After torrential downpours today, our neighborhood sewers couldn't keep up - our new drain tile and pit has been running for the past 2 hours, and has kept our basement completely dry. I could not be happier! I deducted a star only because the crew who completed the work left our basement an absolute mess after the work was done. It took us a long time to scrape concrete off the floor, walls, and even the ceiling.

Our project which was rather complicated went very well. We wanted to move an existing basement window opening and install an egress window. The sales rep, Craig, was responsive and respectful. The crew worked quickly and professionally. But it was Stoyan who was the expert and who really helped us through the multiple steps of this project with a sense of urgency to take advantage of the good weather in December. They know what they are doing. Great experience and we would use them again!

I just bought a house in Glenview. I was looking for a company that could install a drainage solution to one side of my house. The grade runs towards the north side of the house causing excess water runoff and potential seepage into the basement. I did my research and found ULB-DRY Waterproofing. I have to say that the entire process was absolutely flawless. Their estimator came out to assess the situation and provide solutions. They had to come out a second time to perform a site survey to make sure their solution would work properly (making sure there was enough pitch from the front of the property to the back to drain the water). Once everything was assessed we scheduled a day for their crew to come out to perform the work (installing a french drain to move excess water build up away from the side of the house). They also connected one of my gutter downspouts to the pipe to drain that water away also. The crew was very professional, hard working, and technically sound. Not many companies have all these attributes. They really knew what they were doing. This company is awesome.

Everything went great from the first appointment with Stoyan to review the issues, scheduling with Slavka, and finally the workmen who came to do the jobs. They showed up within the one hour time frame given, gave a 30 minute "heads up" call, did the jobs neatly and were polite. I would definitely use this company again. Very professional and responsive.

Due to excessive groundwater, we had an active leak in our basement. ULB came and gave us a reasonable quote, and was able to do the job during a very busy time of the year. They replaced the old interior drain tile system (which had been done by a previous owner on the cheap), which is a massive job, and even stayed late the first day to make sure they could get all the work done in the two-day time frame they'd given us at the outset. They also installed a new sump pump and backup system which is much quieter than our old one. The system is humming along smoothly now, and the basement is (finally) dry. This is a very dirty job and the crew was able to keep the mess and disturbance to a minimum. The team was friendly and easy to work with, and very patient in explaining all of the work they were doing. They even pointed out some other foundation cracks I hadn't seen, and fixed them while they were there at a heavily discounted price.

HONEST and Great Service. Originally came out and gave me a range for my Water leakage problem and asked that I take pictures of where exactly the water was coming from vs...Over There on that wall. After the last thaw and Rains I got a picture of Where exactly water was coming from. They came out within a couple of days to do the Repair for a total bill of $560.00. That was Extremely Reasonable for all the time spent repairing and filling where the leak was. I felt blessed to not have Stoyan try to upsell me at a time when I've got lots of other bills to cover. THANK YOU ULB!!!!

When we bought our home we knew there were problems with the basement but we did not know the extent. ULB Dry helped us figure out what the problems were and what the right strategies were. They made thoughtful recommendations but never pushed us to do more work than what we felt comfortable with. They sealed some cracks, installed drain tile, and a sump pump plus backup. The crew who worked in our home was great. They worked quickly and efficiently and talked us through everything. They found an additional plumbing problem and helped connect us with a plumber who fixed the leak within 24 hours. In short: ULB Dry did an all around fantastic job with the quality of their work and their communication with us. Their sales, main office, and work team were all wonderful people who I would happily work with again (but also I feel confident my basement will stay dry so I probably won't need to).

ULB responded quickly to my call and scheduled an inspection in the next few days - -unlike some competitors who were not available for a month. They consulted with me about the best solution, and I agreed with their proposals. We scheduled the work for a time in the near future that worked for both of us. They showed up promptly and made the repairs. I'll have to wait for spring rains to test whether the seepage has been corrected, but I think that ULB was very thorough.

Had a quote from emergency plumber we had come late evening on the weekend when the sewer backed up. Read that you don't need a plumber for this kind of repair and plumbers are more expensive. Searched Angie's list and found ULB Drywaterproofing. They have great reviews here and on Yelp. The plumber service had a lot of good reviews but a couple really sketchy ones. So I got an estimate from ULB, which was indeed lower than the plumber one, but still in the same ballpark. Because it was really needed to be done quickly they agreed to do it that Saturday, and they talked with the town's permit people. It didn't need a permit but ULB needed to send in pictures of their work to the town. They did the work, took the pictures, returned the yard to a nice level area, and everything is good now. The staff in the office is very responsive by phone and email and very helpful. The estimator who arranged all the work was very knowledgeable and explained things to me in very good easy to understand language, and also answered my many questions. I highly recommend this company and would not hesitate to use them again.

After living in our house for 20 years, we had seepage for the first time in one part of our basement. We called several waterproofing places that morning and ULB was by far the most responsive. The same day we called, Stoyan came out to see the leak, diagnose the cause, and propose a fix. Stoyan did an excellent job at explaining the problem and scheduling the repair. Within two days, Kyle came to fill the crack. His work was also excellent. Stoyan and Kyle both came to our house at the times promised and were very good at answering the questions we had. We were very impressed with ULB and highly recommend them.
