608 It was all he said it would be! His solution to fix our 20 year old siding (that could no longer be matched) was to take the old siding from behind the bushes and put it around the new window and put the new siding behind the bushes. Truly great idea!
The previous work completed on replacing stucco with Hardy siding, new windows and a small side deck let us know he is responsive, courteous and an excellent craftsman.
Decided to hold off on siding for another year, so did not go forward with the project.

Second, at the start of the 2nd day, their ladder hoist broke down, which I expected to halt work (not getting heavy packages of shingles to the roof). But, instead of a delay, the team members just carried them up the ladder manually to get the job done on time. You don't see that kind of commitment very often in this new world order. When I met in person with the salesman, he told me that is what they would do because of course the wood was obviously damaged. The contract said "replacement window, new flashing", which I thought meant what the salesman told me, the entire frame. The person who came to measure called me on the phone, and he told me that all the damaged wood would stay, but I didn't understand him well over the phone. When the windows were actually installed, they left virtually all of the damaged wood and lead paint. They came back today not to make plans to fix anything, just to insist to my face that I was wrong and they were right, and the salesman didn't count."
